Our dear friend ROBERT (2nd Guitar/Backups 2002-2009) has left GUTWRENCH as of August 23rd, '09. He stated that he was going to pursue other musical ventures. We wish him luck in whatever it is that he does.....
We are running out of homies to sub into our band, but luckily we all decided on the most obvious choice: A local Shredder by the name of PAT "Dingy Dang Wallace" MURPHY. A homie of ours since way back, he has what it takes, we feel, to aggressively take over where ROBERT left off.
Upon shoveling through some Crap, the other day, I (MARK) stumbled upon the long lost master tapes of GUTWRENCH's "Gin & Juice Sessions," Demo, recorded in January of 2003 (Our first "official" release, hand recorded/numbered batch of 110 tapes. 30 of which contained a limited edition fold out poster). I also Stumbled upon some even older recordings, one of which was called "The Hungover Demo," Recorded in December 22nd of 2001 and a completely unreleased one that was recorded a few daze after X-Mas, the same year. Finding these and listening to them, then made me reminisce about back in the day, and our oldest lineup versus our current lineup. I figured i'd compile the list, here, while i'm thinking about it. Oh, and if anybody is interested in having a re-issued copy of The "Gin & Juice Demo" made for them, let us know. I'm trying to see if there is any interest left in tapes, and if it'd be worth it to print any of them.
