Current mood:  anxious

Anyone from 19 management should call as well as anyone who feels ready to act on behalf of Peven Everett let me know. I'm tired of being bothered and blamed for things that are not my responsibility. It seems that I'm one of the few people who has the gutts to publicly be honest. The rest aren't so interested in the prospect. I'd love to be present London if the promoter decides to have me. All I want is for the state of my health to be respected. The promoter waited until today to present me with something I asked to have in my hands a week prior to me actually arriving in London. It would have been the Feb,16th when things were ready which would have given me plenty of time to prepare health withes. Remember I'm not a " major label artist". I'm on a medicinal schedule that is quite hard to deal with but I do. I ask for a week before every performance to insure myself of being heathy enough to perform. I have bleeding ulcers that I'm hoping to have removed and a fractured bone from a car accident . All I ask is the time to get my cycle of pill in take in line with still being able to perform.  I haven't missed gigs but this one is much like the Canadian event. I was asked on the Canadian event to come without a permit. I was sent home after over 9 hours in customs along with my band because the promoter wasn't together. To leave town is to prepare. You prepare when you know you are leaving town. I asked for a week so I could medically deal with the trip to London. The guy calls me this morning. Already 6 days late with the permits he has a problem resceduling the gig. It wasn't my mistake an even if I wanted to . Without an operation of some sort I need to make sure that I can handle the duties of a group leader while on the road. This is why the medication I take is so necessary. My necessity for compassion in this manner seems to have taken a back seat to the promoter's selfish way. I asked for a seat that would accommodate my fracture and he made me feel like I was a jerk for asking. I'm tired of paying for ma promoters lack of anything. ":Just do it" is a shoe slogan ." Do it right "applies to life. Just do it in the music business is called slavery. The circumstances around the event ultimately decide on whether or not any one artist will be happy. The work permit for internation flights is the flight ticket. No work permit ? Back on the plane you go. I had no confirmation until this morning so there I was once again in the position to pay for a really bad day that I didn't structure and in bad health.  My band was not sure we were even going because there were no work permits.  They no that without the permits the trip is not a go. All this while dealing with acute  ulcers that bleed and a bad back . Not fair to me. I said I would still come if he would at least take the responsibility for not keeping my request for business to be done a week before the gig. He decide to demand that I come . I'm no slave and will not be talked to like one. No orders will be taken here.It was all about good business getting done. Man is measured by his ability to see his option for opportunity. Build don't destroy. Spend money on lawyers instead of doing what's right? That retainer alone buys the flights.  As an artist after the 50th time hearing just do it or just make it happen from a promoter . You now have a history as being the act to higher when you wanna make rent. Cheap and dumb. I'm not and never will be that. This is why I was the one to explain it up til now. London is the sister city to Chicago musically and our people get along pretty good . As long as things are fair the relationship will grow between us. I don't want anymore than I deserve. Promoters seem to think I deserve less than  the fans would if they new. You have to love music to be in it. To make money in it's current model, you have to love tricks and dishonesty.  The major artists don't have to compete with me yet. The Ceo's relationships with money keep that from happening. There are no Marvin Gayes and Aretha Franklin's of today because those artist are being starved out. If you don't let them screw you don't get on tv They all hope they never have to compete with me. The one's Ive spoken to that is. However, I wonder. I really do wonder if there is a company on the planet with easy business practice and some gutts . That would be the place for me. I will only be tarnished through those that don't get what they want. So please get it from me people meet me and get into who I am. From now on I'll be answering my Myspace a lot more often . People want what they want when they want it but, this sceario is a 2 way street. No woman would say "it's ok to rape me now" certainly no man either. It's never ok. So why would a musician who play's every instrument on his records give away what he can't afford? Survival. A right that is a human right that I feel I'm unfairly being denied because of gossip. Highscool bulls_it. Survival now means moral sacrifice because of our current leadership. I'm tired of pursuing happiness with no chance of actually attaining . Even using by the book instruction is no garauntee. Kind of like getting straight A's and still not getting into Harvard. The major countries are held together by music and held back by it as well. Is Britney the best the world has to offer? Hell no. The tv is parenting your taste and giving you info it wants you to have . How constitutional. Go out and get it people . The industry is at death's door and the driver of this out of control vehicle is a suicide bomber.  The social health of the world is in trouble. The 60s and 70s were incredible musically. The more participants the better the field of play. The fewer. The more boring the game.

I love you London and I hope things work so I see you tomorrow. If not I'll find a way to get there soon. It's me who pays even when it's not my fault. That part makes for bad music. I'm not interested in that.  Necessity is the mother of invention. Invention is the mother of society. Society is the mother of greed. Greed is the mother of corruption. Corruption is the mother of monopoly .
