Once again, a lot has happened over the past couple months.

After pursuing a career of a "full-time" band for several years we were well on our way to victory when we stopped and took a look at things. Foolishly we had not taken the time too evaluate each others hearts and minds. Unfortunately we all had different ideas of where we wanted to take the band or where the band was going to take us, and that coupled with many personal goal differences we made a decision that was very hard but very necessary.

With no pleasure at all we regret to inform you that as of a month or so ago S.W.S is no longer a band. We want to thank everyone who supported and stuck with us over the years. Our journey would have ended long ago if it wasn't for all of you.

Be sure to check out John Leckenby's tunes at www.myspace.com/johnleckenby and on Facebook and keep you ears and eyes peeled for new stuff from Nick and Jordan.

With tons of love and hugs, Nick, Stefan, John, and Jordan

Also, congratulations to Stefan and Audrey Elmer on their marriage, we love you!

Well a lot has happened in the past few months. To start things off we were fortunate and blessed enough to record a full length album last fall with one of our inspirations, Ryan McAllister. With his help and talent we were able to put together an album that we are very proud of, “Stop. Now!” After playing several shows and promoting the album we were forced to take a brief hiatus; on December 20th of ’08 Nick got married to his awesome high school sweetheart, Julianne. They had a beautiful wedding on a freezing, blizzardy Saturday afternoon. A few days past by and suddenly it’s Christmas time!! We here at Slowly We Survive love Christmas time and New Years!! We all had a very good time spending the most important season with the most important people in our lives.

Now for the past few weeks we have been getting back into the swing of things practicing and writing new material. Oh I forgot to mention, at some point in our crazy December we decided to add a fourth member to Slowly We Survive. We felt we really needed to do this to achieve what we want to accomplish in our live show and to write the type of music that we really believe will change the way people think, love, speak, and live. So without further a due, we are very excited to tell you all that our longtime friend, John Leckenby will be joining our team. He will bring a totally new element to Slowly We Survive and we can't wait for you to hear our “new sound”. We thank you all for your support and look forward to seeing and meeting you at the nearest show.

With love,

Jordan, John, Stefan and Nick
