Saturday, October 7th, 2:15pm Los Angeles time on KCRW-FM (89.9) or at www.kcrw.com

This week during "New Ground", host Chris Douridas gets up close and
personal with JAMES HUNTER. The British-born soul singer stunned

There's one last thing you should know. As amazing as James Hunter's songs sound, they sound even better when the man performs them live.

Our New Ground session features an exclusive live interview and full
band performance of songs from the new album, as well as a few
songs that have never been recorded.

also we talk about:

- his years working on the railroad before he got a break.
- getting his start with the help of Van Morrison.
- growing up in Colchester, North of London.
