If you have three quarters, four dimes, and four pennies, you have $1.19. You also
have the largest amount of money in coins without being able to make change for a dollar.

Its ironic how something that will never end is often considered too short.

I think I finally got the two shots I want for my first class assignment. There should hopefully be more shots with solid contrast on the roll too. A bunch of iron work, masonry, and a couple dogs. We'll see how they turn out come Thursday. Photos should be up that night if I can scan them in school.

Now I just need to learn how to do custom borders on the enlarger. So excited about this roll! Eeeek

The Secret

I believe and know that nothing is
incurable. At some point in time,
every so-salled incurable disease has
been cured. In my mind, and in the
world I create, "incurable" does not
exist. There is plenty of room for you
in this world, so come join me and all
who are here. It is the world where
"miracles" are everyday occurrences.
It is a world overflowing with total
abundance, where all good things exist
now, within you. Sounds like heaven,
Doesn't it? It is.

1st one ever.

Fucking Intense!!!!!!!! I hate heights

It started with me and a couple people walking across a foot bridge a couple feet above this super long and narrow lake in a gorge in heavily forested mountains. When I got to the other side a medium sized gold coy fish aimlessly swimming through some submerged rocks in crystal clear water caught my eye. After walking off the bridge we started making our way up a steep grade stone path, zigzaggin up the rock face of the gorge. After a couple zigs and zags we arrive at the base of an observation tower with a spiraling staircase in the shape of an octagon going all the way to the top with enclosed rooms on each floor starting half way up. Almost like someone lived there. Being scared shitless of heights I tried not to look out before I got to the top, but I couldn't help it. The view was . When we get to the top floor where I take notice to a sign on the wall that pointed out we were 938ft above the ground. There was some other number that was crossed out above it that wrote something like 4,017 SBF. I went one more floor up, which was the observation deck overlooking the mountain range. Killer view. The wind picks up and the tower starts to sway. I grabbed the nearest railing to keep my balance as people were getting knocked over. I start hauling ass down the stairs and by the time I get only a couple floors down the tower started to slam against the vertical face of the mountain that had a home carved into it. Shit was starting to fall apart and people were panicking. By instinct I leaped down the center of the spiral staircase grabbing at the edges to slow myself. I was falling fast. I landed on my feet at the bottom and peered up to see the tower swaying and twisting violently tossing people off like a bull does a cowboy. And I wake up completely drenched in sweat, wide eyed glaring at the cieling.

Fuck falling dreams!@

I got one of those phone calls you never want to have to answer. It started as a small mole on my cousin Ryan's back that began to change. A few months later he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma. Got a call just now. He has today left. He slipped into a fever last night and didn't wake up today.

I'm flying out Wednesday.

Ryan, you were and also will be cool as shit. We never had a dull moment. From fishing the French Creek to the mouth of the Tampa Bay. Running from bats in bat country to running from skunks at the Prescott Cottages. There wasn't anything to not love about him. I'm going to miss you.
