We are very much looking forward to playing a Live to Air set for Triple Radio Station on November the 18th, in East Brunswick. Everyone and Anyone is absolutely welcome to cheer, jeer, or remain silent and watch, at absolutely no cost. The best things in life are truly free...

Well, not all of the best things. We hope to make our Album Launch at The Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, with Mick Turner and Margins, one of the best. We have reason to believe it will be very special indeed.

Ms Holiday Sidewinder will be appearing (courtesy of Bridezilla) on Rockwiz this Saturday the 3rd October, 9pm, Channel SBS.

She will answer rapid fire questions on 90s Pop Music (of which, unsurprisingly, she is well versed), perform Magnetic Arrest (new Bridezilla song off forthcoming album) with The Rockwiz Orchestra, and duet with Andrew Stockdale (Wolfmother).

Here is something that we never even dreamed could happen...
The adored and idolised Mr. Malkmus and The Jicks have asked us to play 3 shows with them in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.

You cannot wipe this grin of my face.

Exceedingly Happy.

Hope to see everyone in town there.

Our debut album is to be released November 6th through Inertia Recordings!

Bridezilla's debut album 'The First Dance' was produced by Kramer (Galaxie 500, Urge Overkill, Low, Daniel Johnston), recorded in a barn, by The Colo River, New South Wales. Here they were met by bats, rats, flies, lice, and African thorn-bush. They dealt with depleted food and water supplies, absence of doors, synchronized menstruation, mild paralysis, a 'Greensleeves' ice cream truck, and endless Oolong tea steepings. The delights of the country came in the form of bird song, nude swims, trampolines, and burnt marshmallows. Living in such close-quarters, isolated from society, suffering from all sorts of trivial trials and tribulations Bridezilla have created something they are truly proud of.

There are 14 Tracks for your listening pleasure, the listing is as follows:

Side A:
Lunar Eclipse
Beaches
Queen Of Hearts
Speaking To Soft Toys
Tailback
Shipping Man
Heart You Hold

Side B:
Soft Porn
Magnetic Arrest
Lottery Tickets
Western Front
Forth and Fine
White Feather
The Last Dance

We plan to eventually release it on vinyl, hence sides A & B.
We don't care if it's going out of style...

You can pre-order the album at JB HI-FI, where you will get a free copy of the Forth & Fine Split 7 Inch with the Tren Brothers, with every order.

THE FIRST DANCE (PRE ORDER)

Well, Last night Sydney Theatre Company were oh so accomodating, showering us like Kings and Queens with cheeses and crackers, champagne, fruit platters, dark chocolate, and crispy rosemary baked potatoes. It was glorious. And I doubt it will ever happen again.

Now, to the show...
Well it can't of been that bad considering we were gazing upon a marvellous harbour; the glittering glaring lights of Luna Park (the Ferris Wheel, the Face), and The Harbour Bridge (so often under-appreciated by us sydneysiders).

So Cheers!
It was nice and pleasant to show you theatre goers, friends, regulars, stragglers, and strangers, the songs from our upcoming album and bring them to justice. Thankyou to Andrew Upton for his hospitality, vitality, and forsight, in having bands play here.

Amongst us all, we have little side projects and performances around and about town in the next month or so.

Ms Daisy Tulley writes beautiful folk songs that you can find by clicking on her photo:

She has a show at The Hopetoun on the 23rd of June.

Ms Holiday Sidewinder will be performing tonight (the 12th of June -before the Bridezilla Wharf show) at The Museum of Contemporary Art for SONGS OF SYDNEY. She will be singing back-ups on her grandfather (Peter Head's) songs 'William st Blues' and 'King of The Cross'. Then harmonies for her mother (Loene Carmen's) version of 'Reckless' (Paul Kelly/Australian Crawl). Only to then sing 'Darlinghurst Nights' by The Go-Betweens, written by Robert Fortser.

There is a ditty Ms Pia May has recorded with friend Maddie Lucas (Steve Lucas from X's daughter!!). She goes under the name A Casual End Mile. And we love her.

The instrumental little jam can be found HERE: SEASIDE DITTY.

AND Ms Millie Hall is working on something oh so exciting, she is playing at The Supper Club (Oxford Street) on June 18th - this Thursday - with Luke O'Farrell from The Laurels, and Holiday will be tapping and beating on the drums. The night'll start at 8.30pm.

Wheres Wally?

Donate to Fbi!

We're doing a show on Monday night with The Scare and The Philedelphia Grand Jury, at The Oxford Arts Factory, in an attempt to procure funds for this much loved and irreplacable radio station.

We will continue to do what we can for them, and so should you...
