Just posted a teaser cut titled 'Spock's Brain' from the long lost remix album 'vs.' which was planned to be released in late 2007 but wasn't. This preliminary, not final mixed yet version of "Spock's Brain" is indicative of the light-hearted attitude that we took after the very heavy-hearted mad scientists in the laboratory setting that permeated the 'Sundiving' sessions in a quest to finish and release a first album that we felt would give listeners something serious, thought-provoking and a return to true left-field experimentation in the strictest 'Bitches Brew' sense.

The 'vs.' album is geared for the dance floor, not the sky lounge. It is a return to the high fidelity of the 80's 12" that is sorely missed by many today and will be issued in limited cd ep and high bit rate download form only. We will be releasing this as a stop gap probably before 'The Spark' which will again, be a return to the sky lounge but MILES BEYOND...

the Gods

Gods Of Electricity have been spending their twilight hours at the Observatory these cold Winter nights busy summoning the muses and recording their follow up to Sundiving, working title: The Spark, which is taken from the piece of the same name recorded in 1983 by Æ, the first experimental outfit of T. Hamlin and M. Fazio and included Micky Ortiz (Noise 'R Us, Paranoise) among other New York noise-niks (Ah, those were the days!). Once again, this recording will consist of 5 pieces which tentatively are:

13 Full Moons
Miles Out
Gold, Amber And Forgotten Regalia
However Measured Or Far Away
The Spark

- for Micky and the angels that hold him

There were approximately 3 full albums worth of music that was recorded during the Sundiving sessions in 2005 but these pieces have nothing to do with them. We hope to have this out and about by year's end - may the Gods smile down on us…
