As you can tell by the change in the title I will only be posting one more picture which will be the fully inked and totally shaded piece.
This post demonstrates the paths drawn that make up a vector image. Each and every shape has a color that it is filled with and the lines can be transparent or have color. The amount of detail that one desires in a vector determines how many paths are drawn and how long it takes to complete.
This vector has more paths then any other that I have done. Looking at the lines image reminds me of the paint by numbers kit that most of us did while we were kids, and I guess if you printed something like this out you could look at the final post and paint it to match my vector.

Well enjoy and see ya at the revealing of the final image.

I finished the other eye and added some clothes. Lots of detail work left to do on the clothes, more shading on the skin and she needs some hair.

Ok here it is part 4 of ? This one should make Sophia look half freaky or maybe some fraction under 50% less odd.
I am going to post quite a few more because I want to do a slide show starting with the first picture and showing each picture I have posted in this blog through to the finish.

Check it out

Ok this is part 3. I still don't know how many more parts I am going to post on this. I am taking my time with this one because I am really trying to turn out something good with this one. I don't know why I want it to look so good because I am not a real fan of Sophia Bush and have never seen her preform. I guess I am just trying to turn out something good so I don't look back at it and say that something I did earlier was better.
So here it is.

I added the skin, but I have quite a bit of shading to do on it.

Just sitting back watching the History of Rock 'n' Roll on VH1. It is so freakin funny to watch folks from the 50's freak out about the black music seeping into the white culture and destroying the moral fiber of the American youth and our culture. God bless Elvis! It is the History of Rock 'n' Roll week on VH1 and this is a 10 part series so if you get the chance to watch any of it I would sudgest that you do.
Well while I was watching this I decided to continue to work on this vector and post what I have done since the last post, which isn't much, but I am starved for kudo's and affection and shit like that so here it is part 2 of who knows how many.
The only change since the last post is the eyebrows and the eyes.

This is my second series blog where I reveal the diffferent stages of completion and this should help me to see it through to completion. The previous blog I am refering to is the Angelina Jolie one.
The actress that I am doing this time is Sophia Bush and she is staring in the new movie The Hitcher which opens in the theater today. This is her 4th movie and I have not seen her in any or her previous films, but I wanted to do someone current and found this picture and decided to use it.

Isn't she pretty. Well now you know who she is and if you want to see more of her then google it.
Last time I revealed parts of Angelina on a white background, but this time I am going to vector over the original picture and post the updated picture at various stages of completion until I am finished.
I usually do the skin layer first but I didn't do it with this one because I didn't want to block out that much of the original on the first post.
The only thing I have done at this level is her mouth. So here it is...

I may tweek out the mouth a bit or change the color before I am finished, but for now this is it.

Be sure and check back for part 2

Ok I found this on MySpace videos and wanted to share it with you.

I know all my male friends here are metal heads and can't appreciate Pearl Jam. I'm not sure about all the girls but this is the first video I ever saw from Pearl Jam and I became an instant fan. I have seen Pearl Jam 5 times in concert. The first time was in 11/20/93 Stephen F. Austin Arena, Nacogdoches, TX with my brother Jeff. It was a kick ass show and my ears are still ringing from it. We had floor tickets and there were no chairs on the floor and it was a giant mosh pit and I was in pain from getting so close to the stage that I could feel the sweat from Vedders brow as he belted out one hit after another. This show was amazing. and the coolest thing is that you had to have a real connection to get tickets to this show and my brother Jeff was a student at Stephen F Austin and was able to get the tickets. I paid for the pair and we went together $50 each. The memory from that concert is priceless.
