I've just sent out the masters of 'Luna Despierta EP' to our distributors. The final step before it's released. In a matter of days the new EP will be out, downloadable, purchase-able, ready to pleasure your ear holes. For now, we have posted some 'teasers' (30 sec clips) of the other three songs on it. Also we will be releasing the artwork (which can be seen in our music player currently) and album info once the songs are out there.

Oqueso here's the deal kiddos. Andy and I are pleased as punch to announce the coming of our new ep. That stands for extra-long playing by the way. It contains 4 newly recorded songs; 'Anodyne', 'A Scarlet Letters', 'Stuck Under Wheels' and 'Vera'. Josh 'oblio' Center on drums (as always). It was recorded at three studios; Rosewater (t-town, ok), Powers (t-town, ok) and YellowDOG (austin, tx.) 'Luna Despierta' is the name of our fourth baby and it arrives soon. Even before it arrives we are putting up half of it on tha 'space. So checkit checkit. Once they're up I'll let you know when the whole thing will be released. Next we come to shows. We are currently trying to set up some acoustic shows in the nyc area. Maybe as early as May, not for sure though, we'll see. As you all prolly know, Andy and I both have some side projects swimming around that you should check out. Andy's is called To Have Heroes and the myspace is www.myspace.com/tohaveheroes. Mine is called Burn Halo, the myspace is www.myspace.com/burnhalo. both easy enough. go check the tunes. Everybody member David? Of course you do...he's now on a reality t.v. show called 'American Idol'. Go vote for him every week even if he sings funny songs. Finally, all of MWK's music is available through cdbaby and itunes and I would encourage you all to go buy your first, second and third copies of each cd. You might also want to buy every song digitally after you buy the hard copy. It's more fun that way. Anyway I'm off. More soon.

So hey we're in los angeles which in spanish means a whale's vagina. Briggs, Hosty,and I have been drinking a schotch too much early times and are fretting about what I should write. hmmm....I like NYC better than LA. However, this trip has been dope so far. I just got a hold of my bestest friend curtis peoples which I'm sure will prove to be an excellent night here in the immediate future...and it's totally cool (and totally depressing in a way) to go to a city where everybody, i mean everybody, is or tries to be somebody. I mean that in the sincerest way...it's cool that all the people in this city want to be something more. It's incredibly inspiring but...anyway. A label (remaining unnamed) put us up in these sweet apartments and we've been practicing in the same place that dweezil zappa has been auditioning for rockers for his next tour. We're all in a great place and we're all dreaming of rob from upside. I hope this blog finds you well. the dude abides, N

word bitches, how's life? we've been traveling an awful lot. Mainly to just cold places, but we've had fun. We made some new friends all around - Gorm, TD and all the wonderful kids from PDC(your high school stickers are on my roadcase now), the dudes in edgewater & the fucking purse & alligator dave, and not to forget paulie and the rest of the wicked m-f'ers we met in New York (the only place fuck means nothing). I would give you the normal band rant about how the nyc showcase was so so awesome and we got signed to eleventy labels but we didn't. What happened was we had a kickass time and played for more than several people who could have taken us off the ramen diet but didn't. One guy, Randy, who is very cool, took us out to the Motley Crue show later that night and to the coveted afterparty. That's right, we took vodka shots and drank wine about ten feet away from Nikki Six. I don't know about you, but that's fucking cool.
