The album 'Don Cusack in High Fidelity' is a remake of the movie 'High Fidelity' (starring John Cusack). It is one of my favorite movies of all times. I feel that the movie has alot of parallel's to my personal life, so many that I've decided to cast myself in the role of Rob Gordon (Cusack's character) for the duration of this project.

As far as release dates and all that business don't worry about it for now it will come when its done however expect to see more videos from it long before you hear it tho. The album is written and im in the process of rerecording demo's, securing guest appearances and receiving mixes. It's definitely alot to handle while in the midst of launching a campaign for my groups most important album to date. As you can guess Tanya Morgan is my focus right now and while I am in the process of recording solo material it is still officially Brooklynati time. Wheras between Moonlighting and the Bridge we took time to perfect our craft and perform this time around expect NO days off.

So just stay tuned to Tanya Morgan and all its moving parts (Donwill, Von Pea & Ilyas)... that means you have 4 artists to check for in 09 and beyond (not to mention the Lessondary) thats ALOT of great music. I met brickbeats thru my mom, she recommended him to me like '####'s son does music too you should talk to him', little did i know he would be dope as shit. I'm not gonna tell that whole story, im gonna tell the story about that sepia toned photo.

My mom and dave's (aka brickbeats) mom are good friends. We both know each others families and if dave is reading this my mom needs you to holler at her about the car as usual lol (save the crass jokes people, my mother is a patron saint! (again not patron tequila, patron saint)) But apparently way back when our moms were young they used to take us and our siblings places to do shit together. One of the things we did was attend a taping of the uncle al show.

I dont remember this outing very well but i do know that he had this birthday train or merry go round or some shit that made all the bdayboys go craaaaaaaaaazy (c) jeeezy and niggas wanted in. I dont think it was my bday or daves for that matter but i do know i threw a fucking FIT cus i couldnt ride that shit man. PISSED! i think me or someone in our entourage threw a big enough hissy to get on the carousel or whatever the hell it was. i dont know... but i mean that was some huge shit man! niggas was cheesin and clappin and they was tryna make us sit on the sidelines?!?! fuck that... LET ME RIDE!
