In the time of pirating and all that has with internet to do, it appears that it is getting more and more difficult to live on the music you create - this will not stop me.

The latest mind:state album entitled HOLLOW is complete! All the songs are finished, or close to finished (I am never satisfied). So now I am just waiting for a sign from Alfa Matrix, and then you guys will be abel to share with me, what I now take for granted - the new album :)

If you have read the news earlier you'll know that Mind:state - Decayed, rebuilt entered the DAC Charts (german alternative charts) on spot 9. It has been two weeks and it's still standing strong! But week 10 it climed to position 7!

Three weeks on the chart! Let's hope it climbs even further!

The brand new album release 'Decayed, rebuilt' by Mind:state just made it into the DAC charts at position #9 (week 08)!

Let's make it climb even further :)

Also the album has received some great reviews. Elektrauma.de gave 'Decayed, rebuilt' good critique, saying it has good melodies and offers a good diversity. The grade: 5/6!

Yet another review by the electro webzine Industrial Bible who says "Every once in a while an album comes along that seems to get stuck on repeat in the car and at home. Decayed, Rebuilt by Mind:State is one of those albums.". The review is really good and you can read it in the next issue of the Webzine.

On "Decayed, Rebuilt", Per Holmström reveals a much harder edge with straight EBM tracks like 'Bounty Hunter" or yet "Bloodlines". He also explores more icy territories on the dark low tempo and KLINIK-al "Nothing Remains" to eventually close the album with the bombastic Swedish song, "Din Värld". Add to this some remarkable guest vocal contributions including a splendid duet with I:SCINTILLA"s lead singer Brittany Bindrim on the trancey and very expressive "This Above All", some harder punkish chaotic backings from Chris Koch of CRISK on "Nothing But A Heartbeat" and harsher dual vocals from Len Lemeire (IMPLANT) who added some venom on "Confession" and especially on the instant club hit "Black Angel".

Hi guys,

I've recieved two reviews on the EP. One brand new, and one a bit older. The older one is written by Björn Andersson over at Neurozone.com and the second by Marc Tater at Chain D.L.K.

The results are 7/10 and 4.5/5 and as usual Cut.rate.box also gets excellent critique! And contrary to the German DJs, both Björn and Marc felt that "Close Your Eyes" was the best song on the EP.

This is a perfect start for the new year!

Those of you who read the DAC Charts already know this, but for those of you who do not, Mind:state has entered the DAC Charts with the 'bbbc2x' EP on 17th place, week 46!

This is a big thing, for me atleast. And this is good news, and in the future I hope it will be precursor to even better news. To celebrate this fabulous ocation, I will upload a new song to the Myspace page this week!
