Hey we're going to be out on tour through most of the Eastern half of the U.S. this November and December and we want to come to your town. There are a few available dates and, as always, it's great to go to places where we haven't already been. Also, smaller towns and strange venues encouraged! Get in touch and let us know...

It might actually be best to email us here: info@theendoftheworld.net

Talk to you soon.

That's right, our second full-length recording French Exit will be released on the very same day that you will be placing hopeful votes for your favourite Presidents and Aldermen/Alderwomen. We couldn't be more excited about this record. It is 9 songs (...but strangely 11 tracks...) and it will be out as a split between Flameshovel and Pretty Activity. As the date approaches we..'ll be announcing videos, bonus tracks, CMJ shows and a whole lotta touring. In the meantime, we..'ve added on of favourite tracks "Hawks" to our player. Enjoy.

With love,

Great news! The split 7" between The End of the World and The Subjects is out now! It features our song "Someone Else's Dollar" and "Goldenshire Boogie" from The Subjects. It is called Subs & Dubs and is being released by BK's finest: Pretty Activity Records.

It is available in 7-inch vinyl format and each record comes with a free download for your "portable mp3 player."

For those still living in the ice age with a record player, you can also download the songs from iTunes, eMusic, or whatever digital music provider you most enjoy.

We recommend you buy it here: http://www.prettyactivity.com/activities

Thank you and have a good day,

We're doing a string of shows in early June on the west coast with our nearest and dearest The Narrator from Chicago. Certainly Seattle, Portland, SF, LA are in the works but, as always, we'd like to get adventurous. If you're Pacifically-inclined and have good suggestions for places we should go out there, let us know. More than likely, we're down. We don't make it that far often, so let's make it count, right?

We had an incredible tour through November. It didn't hurt that Cursive and The Cops, who we were doing many of our shows with, are some of the coolest people in the world. Thanks to all the people that came out to see us and the gracious people that put us up and put up with us. We should be doing out-of-town shows again in late winter/early spring, so contact us and remind us that we should come to your town.

Just a thought.

Thank you to everyone who came out early to see us open for Cursive at Somerville Theater. We had a great time and had a lot of wonderful people come up to us and say hello. We'll be back in the Boston area in late November / early December, so keep checking in for dates...
