KUFO ADDS METAL SHOW TO WEEKEND LINE-UP
Kreep drummer (X White Zombie) Takes to the Airwaves

Metalopolis myspace page and add 'em as a friend (Portland, Oregon) … KUFO is currently delivering the metal for two hours every Saturday night with Metalopolis which began on March 7th, 10pm-midnight. Hosted by former White Zombie drummer Ivan de Prume, the show focuses on both existing and emerging bands covering the gamut from black metal to noise metal, power metal to mainstream metal, thrash metal to death metal … basically if it’s metal it will find a home on Metalopolis. A native New Yorker, de Prume spent 7 years recording and touring with White Zombie before leaving the band to continue his education at the Percussion Institute of Technology. Additionally he studied production and studio drumming which allowed him the skills needed to open Burningsound Studio where he has been able to produce, engineer and record with a wide variety of musicians. Now an Oregon resident, de Prume has the perfect credentials to host Metalopolis on KUFO.
“For the last year I’ve been waiting to unleash a metal show on Rock
101 KUFO,” commented KUFO Operations Manager Chris Patyk. “All
I needed was someone with the cred, the passion and, of course, the
hair. Ivan has all of that and more … he’s the man!”
Said de Prume, “Oh yeah, here we go, nothing will stop us now, true
heavy metal dominating the major airwaves on Saturday nights! We
have a ground-breaking, powerful show that will be playing the
greatest and heaviest of metal that will shake the very foundation of
the entire Pacific Northwest. Fasten your seatbelts and get ready
for the ride!”
