Am I broken?

Can one be broken?

I stare blankly

Empty

Without hope

Bleeding

Does anyone care?

Have I been forgotten?

Who do I have to blame but myself

So selfish

So hateful

A soul damned to hell without thought

Will this be my grave?

Do I even care?

Blood pooling around me

Darkness finding it's refuge

My last words ring coldly in the air

For I must be broken

I am numb

I feel nothing but bitterness

Take my soul and spare me not

Don't leave me in my pain

Alone and distraught

Life slowly fading

A soul so broken and lost

Can one be so lost?

I can feel him coursing through my veins

Chilling my blood as he takes me.
