Hello friends, Danimal here again.

I figured I'd give you guys a heads up.

NEW CD'S ARE IN

Holy shit right? They look and sound majestic. Give me about a week, and we'll probably set up the whole online thing (purchasing, new tracks streaming). We just took a trip to Miami and we're preparing to do an appearance with Videogames Live later this month so we've been a little busy.

We're also talking about selling Armcannon shirts online, we haven't completely worked out the logistics yet, so bear with us for a couple weeks. Here's the two designs we're currently selling at shows.

--------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------

Speaking of Miami
, we just had a blast over at Yasumicon. We performed 2 days, and partied even more than that :D. I managed to meet up with some people from Destructoid.com, and I was able to wear the helmet. LOOK MOM, I'M A ROBOT

The people over at Yasumicon sure know how to take videos for youtube. There's probably 20+ videos from the weekend. Click here to check out most of them. Oh it looks like guy started uploading tracks from our first album on youtube? What a delectable little scoundrel.

Anyways, if you want to hear what we've been working on lately, we "finished" (not quite) this song last week, F-ZERO

This is it.  The sequel.  The duece.   This is Armcannon 2: The Return of the Attack of the Legend of Pizzor.    If you're wondering who Pizzor is, you'd best be searching through some previous Armcannon media for a history lesson.   We're probably going to be referring to this as "Two" or "Pizzor" for the sake of brevity.

In February of this year, we entered Watchmen Studios for a few weeks to churn out this slice of delicious terror and we're quite pleased with the results.   Watchmen Studios recently put out the newest (and previous) Psyopus record, along with the new Brutal Truth.   With engineer Doug White at the helm we cranked out 11 new Armcannon glory anthems to celebrate our roots.

Now, the 11 million dollar question.   What songs did we include?

Tracklist

Power Rangers
Mario World Castle
Super Mario 2
Megaman 2 Wily Stage
Hulk Hogan/Shawn Michaels themes
Rygar
Contra
Kid Icarus
Megaman 2 Crashman
Castlevania 3
Ghostbusters
Chiptune

You're probably wondering: "When can I listen to these?".   The answer is SOON.   At a date not yet determined, we will be posting the album online for sale.   When we do this, I will put every track on myspace (I'm pretty sure myspace will let me do this) for 3 days so you can hear the album in its whole glory.    So anyways, stay tuned folks!

I've been meaning to post A LOT of this stuff for a while now, I figure I might as well make a mega (mega) blog.  We've got a smattering of interviews/live performances/CD reviews/ and all around praise.

So if you want to hear some new tracks that might be on our upcoming album, find our who that new guy playing the bass is, or hear the latest in Armcannon news READ UP.

-----------------------------------------------
General News
-----------------------------------------------

First off, in case you haven't noticed we have parted ways with bassist Bill Drew a couple months ago.  Bill is an awesome musician and we'll miss him a lot.  As for a replacement, Mike had been working on some original shred/prog material with virtuoso guitarist Kevin Bartosiewicz with the band WeaponEx.  We asked Kevin to fill in for us on bass, and he has decided to be a full time member.  In a move to have amazing circular logic Mike also asked Dan to fill in on the bass position in WeaponEx.   We are even currently working on some songs that will feature Dan on bass and Kevin on guitar, although this is not a permanent position reversal.

Dan will also be performing as a guest guitarist for a live iteration of the Metroid Metal project.  Metroid Metal has been a studio only project until this point, consisting of mathmetal remixes of the almost the entire Metroid series music catalog.   At this point Metroid Metal is only scheduled to have a single performance, at Magfest 7.  Armcannon will also be performing at Magfest, so you should be doubly sure to come down and see us.  If you want to spend New Years partying with Armcannon (literally, come party with us on New Years Eve), this is your chance.

Armcannon is also extremely excited to anounce that we have signed a record deal with label Fatality Entertainment.  We will be doing all future booking through them and are currently working out a distribution deal so that you can pick up our next album in stores sometime next year!

Speaking of our next album...   Those of you craving new Armcannon material (you might hear some hidden in this megablog), we have scheduled time to record our new album at Watchmen Studios in February of 2009.  Watchmen studios has recorded acts like Gym Class Heroes, Psyopus, and It Dies Today to name a few.  We also might be releasing a tiny bit of material before then.  In fact, probably really really soon.  But you'll know about it when it happens.

We've also been nominated for another BUFFALO MUSIC AWARD in the catergory of best original rock band.  Anyways, go vote for us or something.  We're on page 4, 3 spaces down, you don't have to vote for anyone else.

God where to start.
First, a review of Legvacuum from Metal Underground.com

4 and a half out of 5 skulls (what, skulls are metal!)

Link to review

Last year, these legends of Buffalo, NY offered a full-length release of their unique perspective on video game music, drawing upon their love of metal and infusing their music with a heavy synth sound. The inversely titled album offers a treasure trove of 8-bit pastiche to catapult listeners back into their misspent childhoods, with an additional metal flavor.

Armcannon brings some unusual rhythms to the table and diversifies the video game music genre from the more familiar Nintendocore stylings of Horse The Band. Those looking to sate their palettes for a different brand of gaming music might find that they savor the style that "Legvacuum" dishes out in each cartridge-based homage.

"Cranial Syphon" starts powerfully, as is necessary for a Metroid cover. Keyboards bust out a square wave MIDI sound before switching abruptly to the lilting strains of a classical piano and guitar. The gentle piano solo that this song morphs into is quite pleasant, and one retrospectively begins to realize that these guys are quite good at switching things up within a single song. "Smegmaman Three" remains consistent as the keys lead the way back into some shredding and high-energy tunes, letting the drums and guitars shine at mid-track. Armcannon drops a techno-type beat to accompany the signature Megaman music. Just as this sound gets a little drawn out, the gate at the end of the level heaves up and they smack you in the face with a headbanger's boss stage.

"Techno" is much as it sounds, a creation of the keyboardist with the drums pulsing behind to accompany staccato guitar work. It kind of fades out into funky electronic work, though, before inserting some 80's beeps and boops. "Super Cranial Syphon" is a strange, ambient work that reflects, obviously, upon Super Metroid. "Borrow Mega Nuke" is an anagram for Boomer Kuwanger of Megaman X fame, and it stays pretty true to the original song's composition, enabling the listener to rock out non-stop. "Dutchtown" is the Tecmo Super Bowl homage with badass riffing. "Bigger Boards" steps over to the sultry strains of Final Fantasy VII. And of all the classic NES titles showcased here, "Dozen Elf Death Gel" is probably the best Legend of Zelda cover in existence, with the keys epically leading the way into the dungeon theme. Even when Link dies, Armcannon throws in a little ska / reggae flavor to cheer you up, and then the axes go into full swing to do justice to the overworld theme, interspersing this with a hint of Zelda 2.

The cast and crew of Armcannon conjoins men of all different musical backgrounds, but the metal appeal of this album should be latent and the musicianship will satisfy even the most finicky. A general warning should be issued to the ADHD kids that there is virtually no singing in this album, as should be obvious considering that video game is music is entirely instrumental, but there's plenty of opportunities to dance like a lunatic if the spirit overtakes you.

There is so little to defame in this solid first release, however, I do have to frown upon a lack of beloved, older tracks like "Bhost Gusters," as they would have found a warm welcome on the first official album while simultaneously publicizing their classics to a broader audience. Of course, this track is available for free download on their website, so the organizational choice is understandable in that context. The groovy Mario themes so common to concert-goers are also strikingly absent, so perhaps the next Armcannon offering will be a bit more diverse.

I highly endorse Legvacuum to your attention if you ever did love your NES, because what metalhead doesn't enjoy brutal covers of those classic tunes?

Highs: Danceable, rockable MIDI-based tunes exemplify talented playing and the nostalgia of these reloaded rhythms is bound to bring a smile to your face.

Lows: Some tracks tend to wander on for a while, and certainly, if you're unfamiliar with the theme music, it won't hold quite the appeal.

Bottom line: Old-school gamers and metal musicians unite behind this well-produced and long-anticipated release of NES music with a metal / electronic spin.

Our 2nd link, is our appearance on the blog for Nerdapalooza.  Hex, who I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting at our performance at Yasumicon in Miami, decided to create a Top 100 Nerd Music in 2007.  I realize that it is now 2008, but Hex fell a little behind during the creation of the list and so did we with posting this.
Anyways, we came in at 5.  Hex had a very nice writeup about us, along with every other artist featured on the list.

And on to the top five with Armcannon. I'm going to get candid for a second: whenever I need some music to get me charged, and just hop into working... I type in their myspace url and throw on whatever track might be available: BECAUSE THEY ALL RULE. The amazing amount of talent behind Armcannon is mind-blowing. This year, they've performed with Video Games Live, produced an amazing album called Legvacuum, performed at MAGfest, redefined what it was like to "rock," and gave the world Star Wars Frank. Showing that there are still amazingly fresh ways to interpret video game music in the "traditional format," these guys are anything BUT traditional. Metal to the core, these guys are reinventing the genre and having a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

Link to blog.  Be sure to check out his previous blogs detailing the other 90 artists featured in this list.  There are some excellent artists in our company and I guarantee  you'll find at least one artist you'll love by skimming his list.  Thanks Hex!

Speaking of the aforementioned Yasumicon in Miami, a film group named Questionable Works was doing some filming during one of our performances and later conducted an interview with us afterwards which was spliced into a pleasing mix of the two.  So if you want to see a live perfomance of our Zelda remix along with an interview check it out on youtube.  This is also Kevin's first performance with the band.

Armcannon perfoming Zelda and interview at Yasumicon

---------------------------------------

Again in the live performance department, we did a live to air performance with NPR radio affiliate WBFO as part of their Wednesday Night Concerts series.

It was a very interesting event actually, we conducted an interview on stage mid-concert and then went back to rocking out in front of a live audience.

We played some material you might not have heard before including Mario World Castle, Rygar, and Crashman.  I enjoy the host and interview especially due to the reverence his gives video game music as a curious outsider who really gets what we're trying to do.

Anyways, this page contains photos from the event and streaming audio of the entire performance.  The live performance is far from perfect, the tubes in my amp died 30 minutes before airtime and I used an amp without a footswitch, but hey, that's live music for you!

Link to performance and photos

---------------------------------------------

Dan recently gave an interview for the metal webzine Chronicles of Chaos!  I would post a transcription here, but it's fairly lengthy.   It goes into detail about things like fitting into the regular music scene, the remix process, why the hell Techno is on our album, and some recent Armcannon news among other things.  Definitely an interesting read for any Armcannon fan.

-----------------------------------------

Another cool article, which has us more of a mention than a piece about us is: The Game Music Listening Primer by remix artist Dale North.  The piece was posted over at Destructoid and really is a great comprehensive piece for anyone even vaguely into game music which describes the different "factions" of game music really quite nicely.

Link to the full article

----------------------------------------

Another article was posted over at the Slobs Of Gaming entitled "The 11 Best Video Game Cover Bands" which reminds me that there are getting to be quite a few of us in the live game music performance genre.  There are some awesome bands mentioned in the article other than us that we are indeed fans of.  The portion about us reads:

"Video game covers don't get more melodious than ARMCANNON's wicked tracks. With a moniker cleverly adapted from the Mega Buster, these guys use a plethora of powerful instruments to cover Zelda, Final Fantasy, and of course, Mega Man. If you pick ARMCANNON up for a listen, we recommend "Still More Fighting" and "Smegmaman 3" for your musical library. There's a little metal, some piano work, and even more for the curious gamer. Give these New Yorkers a chance, and you'll be hooked."

Anyways, for the full article Click here mother truckers

-----------------------------------------

Finally I come to my last piece about us (I seriously had like 20 firefox tabs open when writing this).  This one comes to us from a blog entitled the The Wort Report which gives us a nice review of Legvacuum.  The article:

Armcannon: Legvacuum

A few weekends ago, real-life friend and frequent Wort Report commenter Andrew Metzger thankfully introduced me to Armcannon, a Buffalo, NY-based rock group that specializes in putting its own unique spin on video game themes. Their debut album, Legvacuum, is sure to inspire pangs of nostalgia in anyone who can, to this day, recite the "Konami code" by heart or those who toiled endlessly to earn the best possible ending in Super Metroid to get a glimpse of Samus Aran in her underwear. Not that I would know anything about that. Ahem.

But this album is more than just a showcase of pixel passion. Simply put, Armcannon rocks. From "Kraid (Metroid)" to Legvacuum's final (and strongest) track, "The Legend of Zelda & The Adventure of Link", it's apparent that Armcannon isn't just about aping the musical stylings of Hirokazu Tanaka or Koji Kondo. Armcannon retains the musical flavor of each piece, but infuses these tunes with a fresh hard rock/metal sensibility that makes them more than mere homage. The album also features music from classic titles such as Mega Man 3, Mega Man X, Final Fantasy VII and Tecmo Super Bowl.Click here to visit Armcannon's MySpace for more information on the band—including performance dates, audio samples and photographs—or visit their home page at Armcannon.com to purchase a copy of Legvacuum. And don't worry, unlike most of its source material, Legvacuum isn't sold in cartridge form. You won't need to blow into anything to get it to work.

I'm sensing a pattern here, errr, link

-------------------------------------------

And that concludes our broadcast day.  Stay tuned for new material very soon.  God this is long.  Click enough links yet?

Friday, May 30, 2008
Hey guys, I'm proud to announce Armcannon has its music featured on the new gaming entertainment site The Game Heroes.

The Game Heroes just launched so they're still accumulating content, but the site will be jam packed with stuff in just a couple weeks I'm sure.  They do have a few podcasts up and attentive listeners can probably recognize a few tracks from the Armcannon CD in the background :)

Anyways, go check out their site, we're really excited to work with them.  We'll probably be doing some interviews or maybe some exclusive music for them in the future, so who knows.  If you're not into old school game reviews and fun videos, you could just go there to oggle Liz, Jordan, and Alyssa, which is a perfectly acceptable reason within itself <3<3<3.

Hey guys, it’s just been confirmed that Armcannon will have the honor of performing with Green Jello on July 3rd at Club W in Buffalo.  This show is going to be pretty ridiculous.  Details are as follows:

Thursday July 3rd @ Club W
199 Delaware Ave. Buffalo NY
Doors 9PM - Ticket $12 / $15 at door
Bands Featured: GREEN JELLY
Inocula
Beyond Death
Armcannon

You might not know that Green Jello has done videogame music as well.  In fact, all the songs from Maximum Carnage for SNES are actually Green Jello songs.  We’re very excited about this show.

Also in other news we just had the song "Kraid" from Legvacuum posted on
OverClocked ReMix (OCR).  OCR is the largest videogame remix site on the internet.  However very few of the remixes on that site are ever performed live, so I guess that would make our remix sort of a standout track on that site.  There’s literally hundreds or thousands of great VG remixes on that site so feel free to check it out if you haven’t already.

In other news, if you haven’t already, feel free to check out a 15 minute radio special that consists of interviews and clips from Legvacuum that Alison Zero over at WBFO put together.  It turned out very cool so take a listen if you haven’t already.
Link: Armcannon radio special (MP3)

We’re starting to work on more new songs and hopefully I’ll have some new Armcannon youtube vids up sometime in the near future.   The fun never stops in Armcannon-land.

-Happy St. Pattys kids.  Drink a green beer for us.

Current mood:  nerdy
The local CD release party was a freakin blast. We sold out Neitzches, rocked it with Powerglove and Surreality, and totalled the technodrome.

First off: PRESS

To start off, we have an article that was in the Buffalo News gusto written by Jeff Miers. Jeff Miers is pretty much THE GUY for music reviews in Buffalo. Jeff spells our name wrong and does a commentary on band personas. I kind of wish that he did an article about our music instead of an online commentary, but hey, I always appreciate a good plug.

Armed, ready

MySpace is great for more reasons than it's annoying — so far at least.

One of the things it's most easy to love about the self-promotional, ether-based juggernaut is the instant insight it gives you into a band's collective thought process. If the page in question is all serious and self-aggrandizing, with glamour shot-style images of the pose-striking band in abundance, you know what you're in for, generally speaking. If the page boasts some self-deprecating humor, refuses to take the whole thing too seriously, and generally seeks to entertain rather than impress, well, you start liking the band before you've even heard its music.

Buffalo's Armcanon, in addition to its rib-tickling moniker, has a cool MySpace page. To wit:

Beneath the "Influences" banner, the band members offered "Anything and everything from Mozart to Meshuggah, Marcus Miller to Megadeth, Dream Theater to Dream Evil," which struck me as an appealingly eclectic approach. The "Sounds Like" header had band-authored text beneath it that was just as charming, claiming Armcanon to be purveyors of "Powerslop, with an edge . . . or is it Slowerpop, with rounded corners?"

Armcanon celebrates the release of its new collection, "Leg Vacuum," with what the band is billing as a "Quantum Leapyear CD Release Party" inside Nietzsche's, at 9 tonight. Prior to the Armcanon gig, the Fibs offer a happy-hour set on the club's front stage, beginning at 6 p.m.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd off, we have a nice little spotlight in the local Art-zine appropriately called "Artvoice". Their plug for our show was pretty awesome, and it seems they did some pretty decent research as well. By the way Artvoice, it wasn't just a Leap Year party, it was a QUANTUM LEAP year party. We really just wanted to worship Scott Bakula because he's a ferocious piece of man meat.

Video game bands are all the rage, and Buffalo's ARMCANNON brings a progressive, metal edge to the electronic genre, reworking the tunes of nostalgic 80s and 90s pastimes into orchestral rocking grooves. A major headliner at the annual MAGfest (formerly the Mid-Atlantic Gaming Festival), ARMCANNON is venturing into the international arena with their second cameo at Videogames Live, a concert series held at venues around the world since 2005. If that's not enough, the band is releasing its debut album Leg Vacuum this Friday (Feb. 29) with a CD Release Party at Nietzsche's starting at 9pm. The music covers a whole range of sounds from down-tempo to thrash metal, easily recognizable covers to distorted improv. Oh, and the CD release show doubles as a Leap Year Party, meaning precisely what, we don't rightly know....

--------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------

More interestingly, one 'zine' did an actual review on the show as opposed to just acknowledging its existence. This review was done by Buffalo Rising. I quite like this review, except for one line: "It's the little details that make going to see Armcannon live worthwhile. It's not that the songs are played well..."

Apparently we don't play our songs "well". I have a sneaking suspicion that they intended to say "It's not that the songs AREN'T played well", but who knows maybe they think we suck. It's OK, we knew what you meant, we still love you. Anyways, the article in full..

There wasn't a still body in the sell-out crowd at Nietzche's when local video game cover band Armcannon held their CD release party on February 29. There was barely room to walk to the merch table, let alone the bathroom.

Armcannon recently released their new CD Leg Vacuum, which includes arrangements of Super Metroid, Mega Man III, and even Tecmo Superbowl. They performed all of these and more as the band played through a nearly-two hour long set, showing little signs of fatigue. They even snuck in a non-video game track -- Hulk Hogan's classic entrance music Real American -- which received a great response and sing-a-long from the crowd.

It's the little details that make going to see Armcannon live worthwhile. It's not that the songs are played well, it's how the swimming noises are replicated during the underwater music from Super Mario Bros. The band clearly takes its time to not just learn the music, but to figure out what details will set their versions apart from the originals, as well as versions created by other cover bands.

One of those other cover bands also played the show. Powerglove, a video game speed metal band from Boston made the trip up to the Nickel City to open up for the local boys and shred admirably all over the stage. One of Powerglove's most creative songs is Mario Minor. The band takes the music from Super Mario Bros., but changes the scale from major, which is happy and bright, to minor, lending the song a dastardly vibe. Copious amounts of guitar solos and tremolo picking complimented the costumes worn by the band. Spiked-turtle shell shoulder pads and barbarian fur chest-protectors create an almost Gwar-like vision, sans the fake blood covering the crowd.

Armcannon will be playing on March 22 at Club Diablo with Victum Mortuus and Seize the Soul. More information can be found at Armcannon.com or myspace.com/armcannon

PHOTOS, WE HAVE THEM

Buffalo.com sent out photographer Thomas Lyon to our show where he took many pictures. Some of them are pretty badass. Anyways, an extrordinarily large gallery of photos can be seen at Buffalo.com. But to save you the trouble of searching, here's the direct link. There are plenty of pics of Powerglove and Surreality as well.

THANKS for all the pics Thomas! Go check out Thomas' website as well,

One fan Emily also took some badass pictures as well. I actually prefer a lot of these to the Buffalo.com photos, although it's probably just because she got some good shots of me =D. THANKS EMILY!!!! Links:

VIDEO

OMG Emily has a video too. She wins Armcannon fan of the month. Her prize is... well I don't think it's appropriate for me to tell you what the prize is, there might be children reading this blawg. Anyways she has a nice video of us playing Megaman 3 for a few minutes. LINK:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg13ZRbngQc

In addition to this, I know that X-Strike Stoodioes got some footage of the show, which I haven't seen yet. In multiplication of that, we aquired some pretty badass soundboard recordings of the show. To exponentiate THAT, perhaps (!) we shall merge these two medias together for some new Armcannon live youtube vids. But it appears I've said too much (gasp!).

EPILAUG:

We had an absolutely fantabulous time playing this show. Our Buffalo fans seriously went above and beyond the call of duty that night. The weather was terrible and we still SOLD OUT the show. Hope you guys enjoy Legvacuum. We have to start thinking about a repressing because we'll be out of copies very very soon.
To Powerglove: Thanks so much for coming down and rocking out with us. You guys bring the epiccness like none other.
To Surreality: Fuck, that fast instrumental is the best thing ever written. I know for a fact you guys made a ton of new fans at this show.
To Armcannon fans:

Current mood:  exanimate
Hey there Armcannon fans. It's been a while since we've had an update, sorry about that.

First off, we recently came back from a wildly successful excursion at MAGfest 6. We got to go both as guests and performers, but also as fans. We shared the stage with some absolutely phenomenal videogame acts like Temp Sound Solutions, The Advantage, Powerglove, This Place is (fucking) Haunted, and Select Start. Here's some photgraphic evidence from said event:

Here's our crew getting ready to leave from the icey cold north.

The killer crowd we had the chance to play for. (Hey there Tim200x *wink*)

If you want to read more about MAGfest, there's an article right here. I think there's also a couple youtube videos circulating as well.

------------------------------------------------

We are also extremely honored to be 5 in the top 100 Nerd Musicians this year, a list done by Hex over at Nerdapalooza. Check out his entire list, there's tons of amazing artists that you probably haven't heard of yet.

----------------------------------------

ALSO, you may have noticed we have a bunch of shows up. We had been taking a break from shows for a while to finish some CD or something. However, now that it's finished (go buy it), we're really looking forward to rocking the fuck out.

The first show is a week from Tuesday and that's a Hospice benefit we're playing. It's going to be an early show we might be playing around 5 or 6pm.

The 2nd show at Nietzsche's I am very excited about. First off, it's on leap year. Secondly, it's our CD RELEASE SHOW. Ok so some of you smart guys may have realized that it's actually 3 months after we finished our CD. Ooops? Anyways, we're bringing in one of our favorite videogame bands to help support us for this show. You've DEFINITELY heard of them. It's not set in stone yet, but you'll hear about it when everything is confirmed. Trust me, this show is going to be ridiculously amazing.

After that, we'll be hitting a couple anime cons, one of which is local to Buffalo and the other is in Utica. We're definitely psyched for both those shows.

Then we're hitting another local show at Club Diablo.

In late April things are going to get pretty awesome. First we are playing at Springfest at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology), and then the next day we're playing with Videogames Live in New York City. We'll probably be doing another short set like we did in Buffalo. So we're just the icing on the cake to an already amazing show.

----------------------------------------------------

FEEL FREE TO PICK UP OUR CD at any of these shows. Or alternatively you can order it online, just follow the link on our myspace or www.armcannon.com if you haven't already. Everyone that's ordered it already, THANKS SO MUCH. You guys rule. Hope to be rocking out with you jerks soon.

As some of you might know, we recently performed with Videogames Live, the traveling orchestral show complete with live action performance, synchronized lights and video, all to video game music. We were given a short slot in the middle of the show to appear as guest musicians.

Videogames Live is hosted and run by Tommy Tallarico who we had the chance to work with, and we don't have enough nice things to say about the guy.  He treated us like pros and was really a treat to work with.  In fact the entire crew was very cool including conductor and composer for Riven, Jack Wall.  We also met the composer for Halo, Marty O'Donnell.  We were pretty awestruck to share the stage with all these guys, including the Buffalo Philharmonic.

Another camera angle, not the entire song though

A fun video diary we made that DOESN'T include the performance

Anyways, it was an amazing experience.  It was the most fun 5 minute set we every played.
