New Sitari is nearly complete! It will be titled The Last Few Years... and contain a lot of really cool, really focused stuff, just as good if not better than Flux Nexus. Expect a lot more keyboards and ambience on this one, as well as some very experimental, futuristic sounds. I really pushed the limits to some plugins, as well as tried a lot of different approaches to this album. One more track to go, which will be the extra long album closer. Should have just about everything on that one, including beats, atmospheric sections, and even guitars and some live keys instead of the usual programming on the last two albums. The Sitari project started out as very improvised with more live in the moment stuff; this last track will be a nod to that, my friends.

And don't forget, there's a new jukebox on the page so if all you've been hearing are the tracks in the myspace player, you are totally missing out. Check out the mixtape thingy, it is really cool. You can hear a whole album on there, as well as most of Flux Nexus. Soon I'll probably put the new album on fuzz.com, so check over there as well. well well well. here is the first sitari blog. lot's of very cool and happenin things are in the works for Sitari. The cd 'Flux Nexus' is complete, and has something like 14 songs on it. It's a very fun and entertaining listen, and hopefully even rewarding.

Track listing and other information will be coming up soon, but the songs Sunday, Tuesday (as well as the rest of the week) and Branches will be on there. And eventually available for purchase in the full audio spectrum of cd. well, more full than the mp3s you're hearing on here. Speaking of, if you are just itching for more Sitari material, there's one song over here. It's an old b-side or something, a relic, really. It's called White Light and was created around the time that another Sitari release called Summer of 99. As you can guess, it was recorded mostly in the summer of 1999 and is a lost electronic prog rock masterpiece. Just finished up a new song as well last night, it rules. So, basically what's in the works is the original Sitari self-titled ep, Sitari's most live work yet, featuring lots of different instruments and a sound that is Radiohead playing dixieland circus music and song titles like Republican Treachery and Head for the Mountains and even a song that almost sounds like NIN. Then you have Flux Nexus, with songs that will keep you guessing but entertain you too, sort of like cartoon and film Sitari, depending on which song. It's also a very diverse record. And of course, Summer of 99, the precursor and probably Sitari's heaviest album. Expect a dubbed out King Crimson house music psychedelic cd. But light on the house music. Fo sho
