Current mood:  tired

For everyone who came to last nights Pitty Patt Club... thank you for making the atmosphere so fun, spooky and friendly, hopefully you had as much fun as we did! Oh and well done for the great costumes, with special congrats going out to our costume contest winners!

For those of you who couldn't make it, you missed a great night... here are a few of my own personal higlights...

- The Puppini Sisters' performance in general. The whole thing was amazing but for me Boogie Woogie Bugle boy was a particular favourite!

- Cherry and Cinnamon's GIANT pumpkin ballon knockers (i never say knockers, but at that size it's the perfect description) complete with twirly tassels...

- Losing one of the bones from my bone pasties from the Love Bongo's skit... i kind of saw that one coming, apparently it flew quite far, which made me giggle!

- Teddie's little suprise at the end of the night (if you have to ask, you'll never know)

- Fey Tish's skit with the cute cuddly tiggy - man alive! that lady has tassel power!

- Seeing Lord Hardshaft bopping away to showtunes in the dj booth at the end of the night...

So.... those were my favourite Pitty Patt moments... finally i just want to say thanks to everyone who came, dressed up, danced. sang along, and made the night what it was... Oh yeah and of course, huge thanks to everyone who was invloved in putting on the night, either as a performer, at the venue or part of the DeVille Dolls own team (team, how lame am i!)

Anyway, hopefully there will be photos coming soon (oh yeah, thanks to you guys too!)... so watch this space...

Current mood:  dorky

1. What time do you get up in the mornings?
8am if i'm working otherwise 9.30-11 depending on how the night before went

2. How many beers until you're drunk?
I don't drink beer, two glasses of wine will get me festive though.

3. Do you like beer or hard liquor?
Is hard liquor still ard if it comes with a mixer... i really like parfait amore but i suppose thats's more of a girly (and therefore soft) liquor. I did try mead for the first time on sunday though...

4. Have you ever had a one night stand?

not intentionally

5. How do you take your coffee?
i don't

6. Do you eat breakfast?
if i'm at home i do... if i'm working i tend to come in ten minutes early and eat when i get there

7. Do you prefer sleeping alone?
i prefer falling asleep next to my honey but in the middle of the night that extra room seems pretty tempting.

8. Do you smoke cigarettes?
yes

9. Have you ever burnt your hair?
i think i might have done when i had synthetic dreads. I definately singed my eyebrow while drunk and trying to light a cigarette on the hob!

10. Do you sleep with a pillow?
who doesn't?

11. What were your habits as a child?
i'm not sure i know what this means. i habitually went to a lot of dance classes, singing, music, drama and did a lot of drawing. I also never ate my vegetables but some things never change.

12. Do you want kids?
pffffft.... i don't know... aks me three years ago i would have said no. Now, who knows. I have no great urge at this point but maybe in my late 30s early 40s. The thought of adopting a chinese girl baby has always interested me... (and yes cynics, this was before Angelina Jolie and her crazy adoption spree!)

13. Are you an only child?
no I have a sister. she buys me wiiine. :-p

14. Do you like road trips?
I do. I don't drive and neither does Anthony so it doesn't really happen but i really do love long road trips to anywhere. As long as there's plenty of car snacks and toilet breaks.

15. Who are your best friends?
Ruth, Alex and Anthony

16. Do you brush your teeth in the shower?
What? Who does that, seriously?

17. Do you eat leftovers?
Yeah, all the time. Whenever i cook there's always enough for more than one meal.

18. Do you prefer being single, or in a relationship?
I am very happy in my relationship and have been for a long time now. But if i were to become single i don't think i would be as desperate to be with someone (anyone!) as i was when i was younger.

19. Are you in a relationship now?
yes. smiles.

20. Have you ever cheated?
When i was with my first boyfriend i got drunk and kissed someone else. I ran straight home and confessed all and he was a good guy and forgave me. I was so ashamed of myself... I don't believe cheating is ever a good idea.

21. Have you ever been cheated on?
Yeah... at least once, maybe a couple more times i didn't know about (i suspect). All the same guy though.

22. Once a cheater, always a cheater?
I think it depends on the specifics. Who they cheated with, why they did it, when it happened etc...

23. Pyjamas or nightdress or naked?
Usually i'm a vest and panties kind of girl.

24. What do you take when you have a headache?
For a small headache i just ignore it and hope it will go away. If not ibuprofen!

25. Roughing it or luxury hotel?
either, both

26. Beach or pool?
pool for swimming, beach for walking and shit. I don't sunbathe so that's right out.

27. Would you give your number out to a stranger?
Yeah, i've done that. It's only my number it's not that big a deal to me.

28. Ever hitchiked?
No. I've not really ever been in a position to need/want to.

29. Ever picked up a hitchhiker?
no i don't drive... and even then....

30. Roses or daisies?
I don't really like dasies. Roses have a little more romance to them.

31. Do you consider yourself conceited?
I hope not.

32. Is your hair its original color ?
No. with any luck it won't be ever again. My natural hair colour is one of the things that i liked least about the way i looked when i was younger. Now i don't have to see it anymore.

33. Do you wear makeup?
yes. but not every day.

34. Do you have sauce with your pizza?
No. yuk. no

35. Do you believe in a God?
no... i don't know... no ...probably not... maybe... i don't know

36. Do you have a crush on anybody right now?
seth green

37. Does he/she know it ?
yeah and we're going out on friday! (hmmm... i have a vivid imagination )

38. What food could you absolutely never give up?
I'm pretty faddy with food. I have something of the moment that i'll have all the time, like every day... and then not have again in ages. I always eat spaghetti bolognese though... i could never give that up.

39.Who's your favorite cartoon?
Like animated cartoon character? Probably Gir from Invader Zim. If you mean that to include comic book characters then maybe Malady or Cleo from Wet Moon.

40. What tv shows do you watch?
Oh god, here we go. Deep breath... Coronation Street, Eastenders, Mythbusters, Bamzooki, Garth Marenghi, Green Wing, My Name is Earl, Mighty Boosh, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Alan Partridge, Spaced, Friends, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, Red Dwarf, Black Books, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Peep Show, That Mitchell and Webb Look, The Mitchell and Webb situation, Extras, The Office, Mock the Week, Never Mind the Full Stops, Walking with Cavemen/Dinsaurs/Beasts, Blue Planet... and any documentary about musicians, performers, people with strange deformities, perversions, mental illnesses or intersting/wierd hobbies. Or documentaries in general. Shit, i watch a lot of tv.

41. Do you think you're attractive?
Sometimes, when i'm in full makeup.

42. Are you allergic to anything?
I don't know... i hope not.

43. Ever had your heart broken?
I though i had at the time. Turns out it was just a blessing in disguise.

44. Who was the last person to hurt you?
I don't know about hurt... a lot of people annoy me...

45. Who was the last person you hurt?
I don't know for sure...

46. Do you wear socks to bed?
only when it's really cold.

47. How do you feel about breast implants?
It's not really a subject i've given a whole lot of thought to on account of being quite ample in that area.

48. What kind of shampoo do you use?
I buy a different one each time it runs out... at the moment it's herbal essences.

49. Have you ever been in love?
Yeah... hehehe... smoooooch x x x

50. Do you think love is real for young people?
Real is a weird concept. You can't really measure it, or test something's 'realness' when it's an abstract concept like love. If you mean is it as affecting emotionally for someone very young, i would say yes... maybe more so because it's a new emotion. If you mean is it constant and lasting, I would guess that in the very young love is often more short lived as your personality changes more at that age as you grow and mature... so it doesn't always last. Having said that young love probably has about the same survival rate as love between people who are a little older as the couple may grow together as they mature. It's all swings and roundabouts i guess.. but pretty real to the people experiencing it.

51. Have you ever loved somebody who didn't love you?
I don't know... yeah maybe...depending on whether i still consider it love in hindsight. But at the time it felt like i was in love, i'm not sure i'd call it that now. Having said that maybe we felt the same but called it different things...

52. Black or white?
In which context. Black if it's the colour in it's abstract sense. White if you mean chocolate!

53. Say your opinion, or keep it to yourself?
It would depend on what company i was in. I find it physically improssible to keep my mouth shut on my opinions if i am around people i feel secure with. Otherwise it tends to be a matter of saying what needs to be said but not dogging every issue.

54. The snow or the sun?
sun sun sun... lalala

55. have you ever been out of the country?
yeah, quite a few times

56. Where do you want to raise your family?
i don't know, somewhere with access to all the things they would want or need... whatever they are.

57. The city life, or the quiet?
I like to be in the city... but i like to be quiet at home sometimes.

58. A club, or movie night?
I would get more excited about a night out at a club but it would depend on the company... a cosy night in with Ant is always good though.

59. Mercedes or BMW?
I'm not really a car person, i like cars with personality and neither of those blow my skirt up.

60. Do you like to dress up?
Yep! Just child at heart me!

61. How long does it take you to get ready after you get out of bed?
If i'm being a bum about 10-15 mins, if i want to look human about a half hour.

62. describe your type of dude/girl ?
Tattooed, pierced, pretty (as opposed to manly) face, full lips, dreads, or pretty hair... i really like prominent filtrums but it's not a dealbreaker... body size not a big issue but i have a strong dislike for overly muscular physiques.

63. Do you save money or spend it?
I tend to spend.

64. Do you wear a belt?
Yeah. But it's a bit ratty... i need a new one.

65. How many pairs of jeans do you have?
I don't know a few. Not that many.

66. Do you want to get married in a church?
No. That seems kind of hypocritical as i don't go to church. But i wouldn't want to do it in a registry office either.

67. Shower in the morning or night?
Night. I odn't like to go out  with wet hair and i don't like to use a hairdryer.

68. Is there ever a justified reason to lie?
Of course... but probably not to yourself...

69. Favorite disney movie?
Fantasia

70. Favorite movie?
It varies depending on my mood... Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind never fails.

71. Favorite song?
At the moment... right at this precise moment in time... probably Erasure -  I love to hate you... but i'm fickle ask me tomorrow and i'll say something else.

72. Have you already met the love of your life?
Yes.

73. Do you think you and your best friend will still be friends in 10 years?
Yeah, we've already known eachother about 13 years, so another ten seems pretty realistic.

74. Ever thought you were gay?
I think everyone meets a person at some point in their life that maybe makes them ask these sorts of questions... i don't think i ever thought i was gay but i think it made me consider the posibility of dating a woman, something i'd not even imagined before.

75. Are you a good girlfriend/boyfriend?
I'm learning. I think i'm growing into it.

76. Do you like being in a relationship?
Yes. I was going to elaborate but i guess 'yes' sums it up.

77. Hats or no hats?
I don't often wear hats but i see them on others and then thing... 'I wish I had that hat'

78. Do you fall for people easily?
I have been known to.

79. Is it hard for you to open up to people?
In some ways I am an open book to all. I don't usually hold back. But i find it harder to make the connection, especially to take a friendship out of it's orginal context and expand it.

80. Do you watch what you eat?
No, and i don't plan to start. Food is a small pleasure in life that calorie counting spoils.

81. Do you believe in alternative medicine?
I don't know. I don't get sick often but if i did i guess i'd try anything if it sorted me out.

82. Is this true "an eye for an eye?"
Sometimes i wish i had the guts to live this way but my conscience tells me not to and i guess this is for a reason. Sometimes revenge is necessary, but didn't some dude say 'if we all took an eye for an eye we'd just be load of blind people', or something like that...

83. "All's fair in love and war"?
When you think of how much underhand scheming, backstabbing and other shit goes on in the name of 'love' (read lust, plus the kudos of being the one who got the girl/guy) i think this one is pretty shitty.

84. "True love never dies"
I think this one is a little off. In my opinion (and i do have a lot of them) true love can be killed off just like anything else. It just takes longer as true love wants to give second chances.

85. If you could change one thing about your physical appearence what would it be?
One thing is hard... if i had to chose one i'd say hair that easily did what i wanted it to, was thick and shiny and a pretty natural colour

86. Mum or dad?
Mum or dad what? Am I one? Do I have one? What?

87. How long have you known your best friend?
About 13 years.

88. Whats your favorite meal of the day?
Diner. Yum

89. Do you have any secrets?
Nothing that springs to mind.

90. What is your worst fear?
I'm a pretty cowardly person. In a horror movie kind of way my biggest fear would be someone making a makeshift catheter and installing it without anesthetic (i saw this in a movie and it gave me nightmares). In a more realistic setting, i guess fucking up and ruining my life.

91. Do you play hard to get?
I'm 23. Having said that, i don't think i did even when i was younger. Hard to get rid of more like.

92. Are you hard to get?

I'm in a realtionship so i'm already got.

93. Do you like the chase?
Yeah, but only when i know it's a mutual thing.

94. Do you use an umbrella?
I never think to plan ahead that way.

95. Night or day?
Night

96. Republican or democrat?
I'm not really sure how the american system works so i'll just say, no comment.

97. Do you like our president?
I get a lot of flak for saying this but here goes... I don't think he's a particularly good president but he has a certain amount of charisma. I don't think charisma alone qualifies him to be president but if he weren't president, if he were, say, your neighbour, he might be quite likeable. There I said it, so lynch me.

98. Do you consider yourself 'nice'?
No one wants to be 'nice' it's such a soppy thing to be. But i am soppy and i suspect i am usually 'nice'

100. What should you be doing right now?
Not much, it's my day off.

He he, look what i got! x
