む(sic) Lyrics

    1.  Tablet of Contents
Stand by for some music (laughs).  Well, it's music but uh, it has humor in it.  I'm striving hard now, friends, to see whether I can describe what's going to happen.  Well I can describe this much of it: it is mechanically produced music.  Sounds stereophonically recorded we think will enchant you; familiar sounds in most cases, sounds that you'll enjoy.  There's some music involved a little later, but that's not exactly what we're doing for the moment.  We want to appeal to your senses.  We're a cinch to appeal to your ears, but I have a feeling we'll appeal to your eyes to because you'll be trying to see the sounds that you are hearing so clearly.   In fact you might as well close your eyes during the first few seconds of this one or you'll go crazy trying to see these.  Here I go (laughs).  Presenting the color and the impact and the realism of true stereophonic sound phonic sound.  Now you and your perceptory senses are in for fun, some thrills, some amazement.  We think complete enjoyment.  Well, I'm going to get out of my dripping sowester now and into the setting and sounds of our next adventure.
Here, I'll set the metronome.  Yes, ma'am (laughs).  Sigh.  Here I go (laughs).  Sparky.  Now I'll put one of the records on the phonograph (laughs).  Never end.  Here I go (laughs).  And I won't give up until I can play as good as I did in my dream.  Never end endevour.
Now it's up to you to recognize the locale and scene of this next group of sounds.  The question is: where are we and what goes on?
We'll now let's settle down all of us and enjoy perhaps the sounds we like most of all: some really good music.  How does that strike us?

   2.  Camellion Child
His long ragged black coat was made of bat wings, fastened at the throat with a mole skull.  The immense war helmet he wore had the blooms of blackbird and the horns of a stag beetle adorning it.  From beneath the slanted visor, his one eye glared viciously out at the abbey before him.

   3.  Telescopes/ Microscopes
Well, look at the ether.  Circle.  Wherever you start, you very soon come right back there where you started from.  There are sounds everywhere all the time.  All you have to do is to keep still and listen to them.  Right now there are sounds you can here.  And listen.  How many sounds can you hear right now?  Count the sounds you can here.  Right now.  Back forwards back forwards.

   4.  Leger de Main
Oohh my god.  Hi, I'm amazing Jason.  And I'm going to show you some magick tricks, okay?  My first trick is with this white handkerchief and, oh no, my handkerchief's not white.  Hooray (claps).  There is a sadistic element in the police department uh.  Abrahadabra.  Huh...a real rabbit.  Hooray (claps).  Whatever brutality they want on the demonstrators.  They'll be using chemical mase, clubs, teargas, horses, all the rest of it.  We regard them as the shock troops of the establishment.
This is Satan that you hear speaking to you.  This is obviously an anti-Christian message; doesn't say anything about hell, sin, damnation, doom or anything like that.  So I must be serving the dark one.  But they're not here.  Is there anyone else that has any interesting objections to raise to this kind of fantasy?
So education makes you stupid.  Medicine makes you sick.  Transportation doesn't get you there.  Et cetera.  So education doesn't get you there.  Medicine makes you stupid.  Transportation makes you sick.  Et cetera et cetera et cetera.
    Enochian chanting.
We'll take down the fence around the white house and have a picnic on the lawn.
Well, you have a nice walk...

   5.  Moriah Conquering Wind
As you bring it, home.  When you finish this page, close the book and listen, listen, listen, listen.
Round is a very nice shape, to be.
Across the entire galaxy (fuzz) but they never proved that it was him (fuzz, static)
    Dinosaur wail
"What is the sky?" asked the little boy.  "A big bowl full of clouds for a giant's breakfast," said his grandmother with a wink.  "A place to hang stars when the sun goes down.  A sea full of night for the moon to sail across while you sleep.  A playground for birds and a home for the wind."  "Maybe," said the little boy.  "But I think it's just a lot of blue air."  And he went out to look for his cat.

   6.  Whistle Punk
I'll give you just a couple more minutes for those electronic devices.  And then I will need uh all of them turned off and tucked away for our departure.  (baby cries)
    Jodorowsky: espanol.
We would have to take the brain apart.  Even if we were prepared to do this, it would be just too many particles to record.  This is far too many for us.
The trouble is our aggressive instincts seem to be encoded in our DNA.  DNA changes by biological evolution on a timescale of millions of years.  But our powers of destructions are increasing on a timescale with the evolution of information, which is now only twenty or thirty years.  Unless we can use our intelligence to control our aggression, there is not much chance for the human race.  Still, life is life, this happens.  If we can survive the next hundred years or so, we would spread to other planets and possibly to other stars.  This will make it much less likely that the entire human race would be wiped out by calamity such as a nuclear war.
These were the pleasantest days of Sam's life.  These days in the woods.  Far far from everywhere.  No automobiles, no roads, no people, no noise, no school, no homework, no problems.  Except the problem of getting lost and of course the problem of what to be when he grew up.  Every boy has that problem.  He got out his notebook and found a pencil.  This is what he wrote...
Book 1: Chapter ten, two, five, four, eight, nine, three, one, seven.

   7.  Pop
Got it.  Like a Christmas tree.
I shall stay here in my box.  Waiting preciously until I pop.
Hold 'em.  Hold 'em.  We don't want another Oswold.  He has fired the shot.  He still has the gun, the gun is pointed right at me this moment.
    French
Once again, as soon as baggage is completed and loaded onto our train and we do hit the all clear, we will then be able to depart and head on the westward journey.  We do apologize for this delay, but we hope it will be a bried delay.  We do appreciate your patience.  We thank you for everyone who helped unload the train in an expediant fashion.

   8.  The Come Down
I was hit a few times and I was punched around.  I was kicked, but I was mostly terrified of possible beatings.  And I was uh kept in solitary confinement during the entire eleven months.  There was uh many occasions when I didn't think I was gonna make it.  It was an experience that I'll have to think about for a long time.  But uh, I'll never be able to understand it.
T-minus sixty seconds and counting.  T-minues sixty seconds.
It is done as the pyramids were built or as the parthenon was built.  Something we can do that's magnificent and wonderful.  Man is made that way.  Whenever there's a challenge of this kind, someone, somewhere will pick it up.
T-minues fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine
We have ignition sequence start.  The engines are on.  Four.  She's building up and you can see the fire.  Zero.  Coming up.  We have commit.  We have lift-off.
Lift-off at 7:51 AM eastern standard time. She's clearing the tower now on the bright sapphire flame.  We're getting the shaking, tremendous blast is hitting us now.  She's going straight.  She's in the roll program.  She's looking good.  A bright, sapphire flame.  Seven and a half million pounds.  There on their way.
Apollo 8 Houston.  Go ahead Houston.  Apollo 8, you are go for TLI, over.  Roger, stand, we are go for TLI.  Uh, we see the uh earth now almost as a uh disk.  We have a beautiful view of Florida now, we can see the cape, uh, just the point.
I think that each one of us carries his own impressions of what he's seen today.  I know my own impression that it's a vast, lonely, forbidding type existence or expanse of nothing.  It looks rather like clouds and clouds of poumus stone.  And it certainly would not appear to be an inviting place to live or work.
And god gave us the waters having been gathered together into one place and let the dry land appear and it was so.  And god called the dry land earth.  And the gathering together of the waters called these seas.  And god saw that it was good.  And from the crew of apollo 8, we close with good night, good luck, a merry christmas, and god bless all of you, all of you on the good earth.
Man may at least become himself
Are you familiar with the uh sir john eckell's views on life and the universe.  He is a nobel laureate in neurology.  It is his opinion that the earth is the only place in the universe that is inhabited by highly intelligent beings.  He says most of these statements about uh higher life come from engineers and physicists who know nothing about geo biology. And he says they don't realize how tremendously complex the human organism is.  He doesn't think it can happen twice in one universe.
He's quite right (laughs) I am sure
this idea that highly intelligent uh people are full of holes
He is quite right in thinking that the human organism probably doesn't occur twice in one universe.  We are the product of a long chain of
DNA and DNA and DNA and DNA and DNA and DNA and DNA
This whole lecture I think initially came out of my own hallucinogenic UFO experiences back in the day that I had with a friend of mine where I started to suspect somewhere along the line that we might have conjured uh these things or played a role in that uh experience.  So I started looking back into the history of UFOs and uh, going, you know, way back uh to the experiences of Dr. John Dee, Aleister Crowley, then Jack Parsons and these type of folks and uh how they employed uh ritual magick to conjur beings and a lot of these beings appeared to be quite similar to what uh we refer nowadays as extraterrestrials.  So I kind of traced that up until today.  So that's kind of the uh basic idea behind that lecture.

   9.  Dogon Star
As far away as the other side of the world.  Even as far away as the first star that shines when the sky grows dark.
That's a lot to think about, said the little boy.  And he went out to dig a hole.
Deeper than the water that runs in hidden rivers under the earth.

   10. Etidorhpa
    (baby cries)
To cap the climax.  To make, say.  (goodbye everybody).  Well now, someone has made up my mind for me.  Here come those (laughs) the bagpipers are with us, friends.  A jolly group if I ever saw one.  With kilts a-swinging and that gay sound.  And they're going somewhere.  I just decided that I am too.  I think I'll join them.  (no one).  Here we go.
