Our first official record, "Every Night Begins the Same," comes out on October 20th, on St. Ives, a small imprint of Secretly Canadian Records. It is limited to 200 vinyl Lps, and digital download only. There are 2 different covers for the record, each hand numbered from 1 to 100. Our superstar photo gal Patrice Jackson took the photos, and our buddy Matt Maust from Cold War Kids did the artwork. The vinyl LP is mail order only. The only place you can get it is at scdistribution.com. It can be pre-ordered right now! 

We have a music video being finished in the next couple of days. The website is being updated and it will be available to view there when it is finished... oldlights.net
We will also put it up on the myspace and the youtubes.

Current mood:  electric
We are shooting a music video this coming Sunday, July 26th. The shoot is from 7am to 12 noon. It will take place at 8th street and Olive downtown.

We are so lucky to be working with a fantastic director by the name of Cody Stokes. While in film school, he won something called the Princess Grace Award for the top student film of any graduate/undergaduate in the nation. He was also the only American accepted into the Paris International School of Film last year. His stuff is super creative and just generally totally awesome!

The music video is for the song "Losing my Mind." We are doing a street riot scene. We need both rioters, and people to play cops. We are hoping to find some older, non-hipster looking people to play convincing cops. We have full riot gear and everything, including cop cars.

This video is going to be really cool, but only if we get committed people to come out. We need as many people as possible to make this look legit!
