* Beginning this week, Pop That Rocks' Weekly OMFG post will begin regularly appearing here as well as updates on whatever is new on the main blog.

For those who haven't noticed, I have a rolling top five list on Pop That Rocks called The Weekly OMFG. An idea borrowed from the PJ Almighty over at PopJustice, it's a list of the top five artists who are currently making me go (wait for it...) OMFG*.

I generally make at least one addition/revision to the OMFG a week, with many artists sliding up and down on the list for weeks at a time (see Röyksopp). Every week will bring an update on what's currently shamming my wow in the music realm and why...

1. THE FIELD

If stunning new track "The More That I Do" is any indication, Axel Willner's new Field album Yesterday & Today will be every bit as timeless as its title indicates. Even better than the endlessly euphoric builds and crescendoes are the the more organic sounds creating them this time around. He's about to start the BEST TOUR EVER with The Juan MacLean later this month. Who's going with me???

2. SALLY SHAPIRO

Swoon... New single "Miracle" is available to hear on her own MySpace and it is indeed a wonder to behold. You can read more about it in my latest post here. The single will be out on 6/16 with new album My Guilty Pleasure to follow later this year. Can't wait!!!

3. PASSION PIT

With all of the new tracks popping up and floating around on the web, you'd think someone somewhere had a copy of the album or something. No matter. Every track thus far off of PP's forthcoming full-length debut Manners (out May 19 in the US) kills and I am counting the days until I can hear the rest.

4. BURIAL and 5. FOUR TET

Match made in musical Heaven, these two. Their sick new collaborative 7", Moth/Wolf Cub, is out now and a perfect reminder of what makes each of these artists so great. Check out streams of the tracks here.

In other news, Junior Boys/Max Tundra in Philly tonight! JAM!
