My final hours in Ireland.  Oh my what a trip it has been.  I have spent the week in County Tipperary with an amazing fiddler, Theresa Bourke who hosts a Fiddlers Retreat.  i stayed with her in her little village of Loughmore and she cooked me Irish meals, took my siteseeing and gave me lessons in fiddling styles.  in the evening we would go to different sessions and play with the most wonderful players. old men and women singing and playing, children singing and playing. such an integral part of daily life.  I truly love the Irish people I met and feel the music deeply inside of me.  I look forward to coming home and sharing the tunes and stories that i have learned.  Finally, i know now more then ever that it is a very small world out there and ultimately people just want to live in freedom and peace. music is a powerful language and it truly does heal.  Blessing and Cheers from Ireland.
