Kiddos!!
Yeah, that's right, I'm talking to you...just like it used to be back in juvenile summertime when the © sign was perplexing and Power 92 was bumpin' all the time...that was like, 15 years ago when Warped was first started, and look at us now!
Anyway, tour has gotten off to a rather interesting start, quite fantastic indeed. There's a new Johnny in the house, rockin' the keys, and making laughter and life and animation come alive with ease...the gang is feeling the heat, but that's not stoppin' this sonorous trajectory. I should stop talking in slight-metaphorical prose. It's probably bad if I have to make business presentations to people about the "essence" of Peachcake.
With that said, we had an absolutely mega-blast at Warped this year...although it almost sucked us dry of our existence, it was a total blast and very worth all the beautiful kiddos that came out and managed to muster dancing alongside us in the rigid heat of AZ!
Tucson was interesting to say the least...we're just gonna pretend like it never happened...or are we?
Odessa, TX day one had to be one of the more pleasant surprises, as the show at the Red Scare was very reviving and an absolute fun-for-all! Thanks to all who came out and danced their asses and assets off with us...we truly had a magnificent time!
Midland...oh man, I don't even know where to start, but at least we gave the corporate media, senior citizens, and some segment of the religious right some entertainment to think about!
Anyway, pics. coming soon!
The tour was so rockin' I almost lost my voice, however, it's back in action, and we're ready to be rockin...sooooooo, Seeya tonight, San Antonio, and tomorrow, Houston, TX:
Tonight, July 5th - San Antonio, TX @: The White Rabbit! Come witness us make un of popular music habits.
Tomorrow, July 6th - (Spring) Houston, TX (The show we always have the most fun with) @: Java Jazz!
Seeya soon, baby loos and boos,
-Stefan and the Peachcakes!

Halo (not the game),
So, as we've mentioned before in the aforementioned blog post, we have begun writing a slew of new material. We're getting lots of great stuff and having an absolute blast all writing together...(who's we, well, Mike, Dave, Winston, Karl, Che, and so on). Being that we're nearing our summer tour, we've decided to launch a contest in light of the development of all this great new stuff, and give you the liberty and option of choosing what new song gets unveiled first.
Here are the contest stipulations, brahs and sistahs:
Since you have no idea what these songs sound like, we're basing this solely off the enjoyment of the title of the song...so, whichever title you find to be most intriguing, exciting, or that suits your fancy, pick that one, and respond with it! The title with the most responses wins, and will be added to our Myspace player just before we start our summer shows. Here are the options:
1. Che Guevara Vs. Carlos Mencia?! 2. We never pretended to know anything, why would we now?
3. Free Speech Mondays!
Update: Song-Title Change: Frosty The Snowman Vs. Chilis?! is now called, Che Guevara Vs. Carlos Mencia?!
There you have it. The contest will be going on all month, so you have moments in time to consider and submit...The contest will end on June 23rd, so make sure you submit before that!
Thanks all, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts, and peering into the depths of the inner-workings of thine curiosity!
Have fun,
-Stefan P.S. I have one of the songs stuck in my head right now! But Myspace doesn't have it listed...YET!!!! ;)

Current mood: adored
First off, let me just say that as I appreciate Tom's inclination to make Myspace a more user-friendly atmosphere and keep up with the advancements made by the forces of social networking, I really wish he would post more meaningful blog entries than this.
While I'm at it, I should also express my disdain for Tom Petty. While he has certainly written some "catchy classics and tunes, dude" he has also made music that may cause cyst formations on my ears.
With that said, I have only about an hour to sit down and catch you all up while I'm really feeling like doing so, before the fried rice is ready and Natalie and I have to hit the road to catch the new hot Wayans Bros. release, Dance Flick. (It looks hilarious, and from time to time, I truly enjoy the asinine contributions to this world).
So here's what's happenin...
We are writing new material...yes, after about 3 years of peddling the same songs and the same incarnations of those same songs, as well as different incarnations, I've sat down with forces of greatness anew to bring to you something new...new music, that is quite a bit different and stands a testament to the new era of Peachcake. By sharing this, I should also divulge that I am writing with a new partner, and with a cast of new characters. The newest additions to the aforementioned "era" allusion remain to be seen, but you can be assured you'll be seeing some new faces on the upcoming tour we'll be doing, and in Norway!! I do feel, however that an introduction to you my partner in musical majestic, the latest addition to Team Peachcake is in order...Enter: Mr. Jackman.

Mr. Jackman and I have actually been writing together for a little while now, and though we never released anything, he and I have collaborated on and off for the last year. I'm really excited, because together we're bringing a fresh ensemble and accessory to the musical attributes and element of Peachcake. We have been writing like fiends, and have collected a fair amount of songs that as planned thus far will go toward a new album. Right now the tentative title of said album is, Unbelievable Souls! (Exclamation point optional), and there are three new demos, Free Speech Mondays!, We Never Pretended To Know Anything, Why Would We Now?, and Frosty the Snowman Vs. Chili's! which will all be debuted live at most of our upcoming tour dates. So you'll have a chance to check out some of what we've been up to, wooo! I'm even considering putting one of the three demos up in the next few weeks just prior to the tour's commencement so that you can become familiar and have some time to let it sink in for your sing along extravaganza...
But in order to do this, I need some help from you...As most of you know by now, our former Myspace page was hacked and desecrated, leaving our web outreach in a bit of a predicament, and slightly disheveled. We need YOU to help spread the word. I want you to tell all of your friends to add the new Peachcake Myspace. If in the next 2-4 weeks we can double the number we're at I will definitely add a new song to the Myspace for you to hear.
From there, the fate of which one I put up also rests in your hands...
I want you to pick (solely by the title), which one you want to hear first, using the title as your guidance for what is the most intriguing or striking to you. So, be sure to leave a comment with the corresponding title of the song you would want to hear, and subsequently have added to the Myspace player.
All right, there's no limit to song-title voting, so everyone, on your marks...get set...GO!
That's it for now...have a fantastic life of knowing, not knowing, thinking you know, but most importantly, LIVING and EXPERIENCING!!
Cheers, and can't wait to see you on the road and across the globe, don't forget to spread the worrrrr(L)d,
-Stefan

Hey everyone, Mike here. Since we have a brand new page and we're essentially starting over in a way, we're looking for people to help be apart of the street team and help get Peachcake out to the masses. If you're interested in being apart of the Street Team, email me at peachcakemike@gmail.com or leave a comment on here. One way you can help be apart of the street team and help contribute to the Peachcake Positivity Movement is simply by telling all your friends to check us out and directing them to either peachcake.net or myspace.com/peachcakeofficial. Post bulletins, blogs, text messages, etc. SPREAD THE LOOOOOVE! :) With that being said, we are in need of finding some people in the Arizona, Texas and Ohio areas to help promote our upcoming shows. So if you're interested in helping pass out flyers, putting up posters, and spreading the word about our shows, email me at peachcakemike@gmail.com or leave a comment on here. I can't wait to hear from everyone. :) TTYLZ! :P Mike.

Current mood: contemplative
Last night I saw Barack Obama speak at ASU Sun Devil Stadium. His speech he gave for the ASU graduation commencement ceremony was one of the most genuinely sincere, gratifying, inspiring, and extraordinary assertions I've ever been privileged to witness or be a part. Now, it's no secret of my speculations, my skepticism, and my holding of some disdain of an icon who is highly revered and in some ways mindlessly placed on pedestals (that, funny enough, he himself doesn't have much regard or desire for)...and although I had my reservations going in, I came out feeling earnestly rejuvenated and revitalized. The guy "gets it." Now, the course of his action remains to be seen, and in the next 4-8 years, I can only hope he will do his best and live up to the premise of which he beamed and stood upon last night to that crowd, but to put it into perspective, it was as if I was having a conversation about success, positivity, the ongoing confrontation between complacency and apathy vs. pro-activity and involvement, with my friends/constituents/those who I interface and work with everyday and all the time. It truly felt no different than talking to one of my friends who are all (in some capacity) very actively involved and aligned in making this world a more positive, uplifted, valuable, sincere, safer, respected place, and move toward creating greater longevity through responsible, creative means. The incredulity of the strength of his outlook and position is something that shows me that we are at a real turning point as not just a nation, but as a world full of individuals as a collective force. Beauty beams bright when we can keep alive the fervor and spright of conviction, through encouraging ways and words. With that, it's inspired me to do something...perhaps small, and seemingly not too divergent from what I'm typically inclined toward, but it's something to get the gears and wheels of wisdom and awareness, in these frugal, and fragile times of place and environment. I'm starting a new little series called, "Encouragements!" I will be keeping a blog on here and updating our Official Blog with them as well. Here's the first one for you... I encourage you all to practice deference, and acceptance, and strengthen the agility, element, and essence of your respect, admiration, aspiration, inspiration, and personal goals. Please feel free to spread this around to your friends, and repost it! Also, what I'd much rather enjoy seeing is if you form your own encouragements and promote those! Cheers, and Greatness Abound, -Stefan

Hey everyone, Welcome to the new Peachcake Myspace page. As most of you may know, our previous Myspace page (myspace.com/peachcake) was unfortunately hacked and completely eradicated. So we've started up a new page and are essentially starting over. Feel free to tell any friends that may have been on the old page and have them add our new page (myspace.com/peachcakeofficial). We'd greatly appreciate it. :) Anyway, we have lots of new and exciting things happening and in the works. We are working on a plethora of new songs and have demoed a couple! :) That and more in the following video blog...
More exciting things are coming soon. Stay tuned! :) GREATNESS ABOUND! Mike/Stefan.
