Dead Muff Productionz is a local 530 live music/event organization determined to bring you the best in live entertainment. We manage, book, produce, promote and assist bands of all genres. We have worked with over 30 venues, 150+ bands/artists, manage 5 bands, provide quality sound engineering, venue assistance, party/event planning, "grapevine" assistance, co-op productions with other notable local promo/production companies, and we guarentee the best local live music experience in the area. Wildoak-A chill and unique alternative store. You can find cool gifts, unique clothing, jewelery, piercing services, records, comics, hair dye and much more. This shop has been around for over 20 years and is mom n pop run. There's always something cool at Wildoak.

If you or your company are intrested in sponsoring us we will put your name on every flier for all our shows (each one is tastefull and will not reflect poorly upon your business, in fact it will help you with advertising where news papers and internet can't do) We are doing it free of any charge this entire year and will do $20 a month (we average 3-5 shows a month we promote) to put your name logo info etc on our fliers as well as great word of mouth and much hype. Consider our services and you won't regret it contact us soon about a great way of advertising for free!

Here at Dead Muff Productionz our goal is to unite the local scene we do a lot to help bands out and get more
and more touring bands
intrested in stopping in
the 530 area for more
than just gas. It's good
for our economy it's
great for our local arts,
it helps people relize that
there is a great
alternative to watching
tv and moping around
on the couch. We are
willing to work with just
about anyone as long
as the band/artist
whether touring or local
supporting acts
consider the
following:
•Communication-
Keep in touch from
the day you confirm to
play a show till the last
min before arriving at
the venue.
•Punctuality- Were on
time so be on time at
least an 1/2-an hour
before to load in, setup,
do last min self
promoting, and to relax
before hitting the
stage.
• Intrest-
Treat each show
oppurtunity that you
take on as your "baby",
if you aren't that
intrested don't bother

playing.
•Crowd interaction-

Take time to meet
your crowd, hang out
with people before and
after your set, this will
get more fans coming
back and intrested in
your show.
•Show Interaction-
(probabley the most important thing)
If you are playing get
there on time, and stay
till the end till the last
band plays and finishes
their set whether you
enjoy their music or
not,
it is bad for
you it's band for the
other bands the venue
and our scene. Too
many bands sometimes
don't relize the
importance of this and
how rude this is. We
stick around till the
beginning to the end we
spend weeks
promoting, hours at the
venue prepping and at
the very end no matter
how late taking care of
shit. Yeah you may
have to wake up early
go to work go home eat
whatever but it's str8
fucked up. Expect to
not get paid either at
least one of your group
should stick around and
be an ambassader for
your band. Trust us we
have better shit to do
too but we are patient
and are considerate
with each show no
matter what. Ask
yourself if you can't stick
around (especially for
touring bands who go
out of their way to play)
than y have a band? It
is suicidal to your
reputation and expect to
not get great
connections and or a
great vibe...no one likes
a selfish band. Please
take this in mind
because we will not
work with you again or
be reluctant to because
if you leave...your posse
of fans leave watching
an amazing touring
band play to us and an
empty room is pretty
discouraging and gives
our area a bad
name.
So don't do
this we don't make shit
and we don't invite
good bands to come
play if you're gonna be
lame. Get connections
and relax meet with
people being in a band
is a full time job each
show we throw we take
at least 10 hrs out of
our day during the day
of a show putting it
together. Please please
please don't be rude
plain and simple.
•Self promote-
We will always
provide fliers for your
act to pass out. Since
we can't be everywhere
or know everyones
crowd do your part don't
waste the fliers they
cost money and trees.
We do our part, do
yours it's not that hard
and it'll help out in the
long run.
•Touring
bands will from now on, not
(unless they are a huge
national act) play last.
No one likes to play last, it's not so glamourous but it's not so bad our bands have been the bigger man and played last countless times, you shouldn't be discouraged or mad if you end up being the last act of the night, use this spot to showcase longer sets, meet people before hand get them hyped to stay and see u. Consider that touring bands usually only make money selling merch. If they have to play last people are more reluctant to not purchase their merch. And they have to struggle touring ( put yourself in their shoes, if you were on tour would you expect the supporting local bands to give you the shaft? Or would you like them to show some support and hospitality)
•Lineups-
Are solid and final, we don't pick favorites we usually pick lineups that are more efficient, and better the environment of the show. We have to constantly deal with lineups being changed around because of special circumstances which makes sense for the band requesting to play a certain spot but bad for the show and others) if you play or first one show, expect the next show we do for you to switch up and get a more preferable spot. We don't like to upset anyone but we spend hours researching certain lineups and if a band is touring and is headlining they will always be more prominent on the flier but that doesn't mean they play first or last (unless they want to) it's set in stone in the final confirmation message which we will send when everything is a go! Don't think we try to pick favorites because we don't it's an oppurtunity and you signed on. Work with what u got.
•Equipment-
Bring what you need especially mics and stands, mics are very hygenic and if you don't got your own well try to help but we and other bands prefer using your own equipment.
•Create a buzz-
Soon we are going to do a big touring band at almost every show. We want bands to be intrested in playing with these acts. If u aren't into it don't bother playing because it diminishes the vibe of shows, always congradulate and announce upcoming bands or bands that played before. It seems that we always have to remind bands to be considerate and keep people around and intrested. It's rude and stupid if you don't rep others we should have to we do the hard work you perform and have the audiences attention.
•Mingling-
Don't perform and then wander off all night it's rude and bad for your rep. Be an ambassador pysch people up get involved you'll be amazed how much it helps u out.

There's more botching and complaining buy please understand that these points are studied and make sense to consider the music industry and scene is only as strong as the bands and the followings, these tips will increase the intrest popularity and reputation of your band and if you can't seriously follow them sit down and ask yourself...should you even have a band is it worth it? Yeah it is but people talk people notice we aren't going to tell you what to do we are here to help and educate. We spend so much time helping you so consider helping us and be cool lame sucks lame doesn't sell lame is lame...take care and let us know your thoughts we are trying to unify and grow the scene.
