Well, well, my first Blog....
But, hopefully it's been worth the wait, 'cause the new CD, "Bring Me A
Little Water" is finally ready and available! I think this CD turned out
pretty good, if I say so myself, 'cause I got some help from some very
talented friends. Annie Mosher was gracious enough to lend her vocal
talents on the Lloyd Thayer penned "I Remember Dirt", while Aaron Moreland
& Dustin Arbuckle sent me forth with their blessings to cover "Caney
Valley Blues". Nine of the fifteen tracks were recorded at Little
Hollywood Studio in Nashville, TN, produced and engineered by Danny Lee
Ramsey. The remaining six tracks were recorded at The Juke-Tonk Studio in
Hendersonville, TN, produced and engineered by Ricky Davis. In these six
tracks, I'm also backed by two of the most talented, and nicest peoples
you could ever know, Ricky & Micol Davis (Blue Mother Tupelo). The CD has
a little bit of everything, from cigar box guitar, to banjo, to dobro, to
Ricky tearing up some electric slide and Micol gracing us with some
swampadelic organ riffs.
So, I'd sho' 'nuff appreciate it if y'all would check it out at:
