I am Benin boy, Edo State ever elusive Bendelite. I love my family and friends to death. I'm nosey but very intuitive. I keep a constant watch out for snakes, arrogance, envy, greed and the STATE. The only thing I hate is ignorance and vindictive people. I dislike macoroni niggas.."Imposter" I love god and he is the only person I fear. I love the Arts..From hip Hop to Jazz from Poetry to graffiti on wall.. I love to write and I plan to excel in the Audio and literary Arts w/ or w/o a Fucking Nobel or a Pulitzer...Look Out for Dr. Octavia and I to bring forth Ibis Productions elevating minds near you soon. Please don't be scared of us... For We are only hear to educate the ignorant... I earn respect and shower those I love with it. And according to the "Enemy of State...That Number 8", If you Hate me that just means you respect the way I move and only Hate the fact you cannot duplicate my path. In order for me to excel in this heartless world; all of my eyes must remain open, my ears should be consistently listening for truth, my mouth should only speak words of wisdom and my heart must go out to those who need my adoration. And when I come of age...I suggest AmeriKKKa should fear me...Because I'm Young, Black and Gifted searching to submerge as the sun and with the moon to create an allustrious lunar eclipse 365/24/7...

What is Oct? Oct just is. Daddy wouldn't let her get in show biz, at a young age. He new it was easy to get played, she knew the world was a stage and one day she be hearing; quiet on the set, add lib til the track stop, and one time from the top. Things come in time Oct realized her words thru pen and sound could earthquake the ground. Art is Oct's sermon on the mount. Divinely inspiring thousands in the crowd. Art is in life, Oct just liven. Thankful for the love she given to write, act, work on vocals and instrumentals while, play with dancing. Without second glancing into the future, Oct sees who she be and Oct just be. It is what you see….

Angel Iyz

BKA

Peaches

When Angel Iyz entered this world she would enter through song The decibels of her crying while leaving the womb was music to her mother and fathers ears

As Angel Iyz grew into a child the gospel taught her true song as she sang in the Children's Choir at Second Baptist of Monrovia, CA (Gem city of the Foothills). Even then she didn't know the "gem" that she would one day become. When she turned 14 years old she joined the Agapeo Youth Choir under the direction of Terrell Dillard. Here she learned about song and how to sing from his teachings. None-the-less Angel Iyz never broke away from her shyness and stage fright to perform a solo.

Angel Iyz made a major move in her life and once again found a singing outlet through the UC Davis Gospel Choir, (that didn't last long), she needed more. While at Davis, Phorsefield Black members Mil.K and P. Lotus encouraged her to use her craft at its best. She has performed at Black Family Week Kick Off, Delta Sigma Theta's Multicultural Extravaganza (many thanks to Lambda Xi chapter for encouragement!) Angle Iyz has sang the National Black Anthem at Black Family Weeks Apollo Night, Multicultural Extravaganza (2003 & 2004), and the 2004 Black Graduation Celebration! Two of her more resent performances were at UC Davis' Black History Month Kick off and duo performance at the Age of Aquarius partythis is the party where Angle Iyz really grabbed a hold of her stage fright and used it as energy to command the crowd!

Angle Iyz is a native to Southern California. She spent many of her childhood years in Altadena/Pasadena and grew into a responsible young lady while attending High School in Corona. She has an assortment of family all over southern Californiaa few of those relatives are great singers as well, and Angel Iyz gathered inspiration through their artistic capabilities. Angel Iyz grew up in an extremely family oriented atmosphere and learned dedication from her family's values. Since the Fall of 2000 she has grown accustomed to the environment of Northern California. Currently Angel Iyz resides in West Sacramento. For the past year she has been working in the legal department of a debt collection agency as she aspires to be a lawyer and will attend law school in 2007.

Although Angel Iyz passion does not lie in being a performer she does aspire to have a few albums during her life time. She has a R&B gospel twist to her songs and she always has the hook!

Mil.K

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area Mil.K has always been surrounded by music. In a home filled with drummers, bassist, saxophonist, pianist, vocalist, and rappers it was obvious that Mil.K would have some musical talent. On her first birthday she took her first steps to the music of Mystic Youth’s first concert, causing those same steps to be her first dance moves. From that moment on her light has continued to shine.

As soon as Mil.K could talk she began to sing. This fell right in line with her performing family. She was able to join her family reggae band, Mystic Youth as a background vocalist, singing and dancing at many Bay Area events, including opening for the Rastafarians and showcasing at Juneteenth Festivals. This gave a firm musical foundation in reggae, just one aspect of her multifaceted style which continues to grow and transcend.

One characteristic of Mil.K’s sound is evident in her melodic phrasing. This comes from living in an abundance of jazz. Raised in the Coltrane Church Mil.K had the opportunity to experiment with any and every instruments she desired, from violin to drums and finally the bass.  With the encouragement of her family Mil.K has written various poems, songs, and has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe. She has toured with Narda Michael Walden, performed with Carlos Santana and E. W. Wainwright and sang the Coltrane Liturgy in the Juan Les Pins, Nice and Antibes Jazz Festivals in France.

While studying at the University of California, Davis Mil.K continued to demonstrate her creative energy. She turned her focus more towards writing original works, instead of singing ballads and classics. She performed at every open mic and talent showcase possible; whether a solo act or a group Mil.K was on the stage. Her voice could be heard on the hooks of various up and coming rap artist. She was featured on S.O.S’s album The Movement as well as Mr. Regulator G’s album The Portal. Right now Mil.K is working on improving her skills as a bassist and analyzing as wells as revising her written works.
