...I came across this song years ago for the first time on the album "Fly" - Yoko Ono & Plastic Ono Band. 

"Will You Touch Me" - as it is called there, is a cd bonus track and is this adorable version of what sounds more like a blueprint, an abstract with Yoko Ono singing and John Lennon on guitar. I fell in love with it instantly, the simple melody and the moving lyrics immediately struck a chord in me. In the following years I used to play this song when I was deejaying, and one day someone surprisingly asked me if this was me singing - (at that time I was around with bands and experimenting with my voice) - which honored me, and actually gave me the idea to make my own version of the song.
