Current mood:  envious
Despite being down three members, including Uncle Stick, Dan, and Colby, we had a great time with our friends in the William Clark Green Band. If you get a chance I highly recomend checking these guys out. Phenominal players, everyone of them. One of the best banjo pickets you'll ever hear. Austin does things with a banjo, Fender Deluxe, and cigarette lighter that makes most guitar players envious.

Ok, so we go the pleasure of playing in pryor on friday during Red Dirt day at country fever fest and it was awesome. here is the line up from friday:

Red Dirt Rangers, No Justice, Stoney Larue, Kevin Fowler, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Pat Green and Dierks Bentley.

What  else can we say.  it did rain a little, but it was nice cause it took the heat out of the air. we jammed all day in the Miller Light Tent, Jason Boland come over after his main stage set and jammed with South 40 on 4 songs, then after Dierks Bentley's set,it was a 2 hour jam with all themusicians that were there, including red dirt rangers, jay falkner, stoney larue, randy crouch, brad duval, no justice, jason boland.  It was great time, music started at noon that day and didn't stop until 2am.

anyway, heres hoping we get to do it all over again next year.!!!

if you missed it, sorry.
