http://www.youtube.com/watch?..v=qGbyLV2UaXQCheck out the link above for a YouTube video shot and posted by an audience member Saturday at The Cantab/Club Bohemia. It features the Doom Buggies with special guest vocalist Kenne Highland performing his garage-rock rave up "Best Bette" plus a spirited version of the Real Kids classic, "Do the Boob."

We have put our stuff at CD BABY on sale. You can now pick up the eponymously named Doom Buggies CD at cdbaby.com for a mere $5. The digital downloads are also on sale and you can get the entire album for $2.
We will also be making our limited edition "Doom Music for Dining" CD available through CD Baby. It contains many of our classic recordings (1995-2000) and until now it has only been available at our shows. Watch for it in the next couple of weeks.

My wife has been secretly uploading YouTube videos of various Doom Buggies performances over the past few months, including the first public performance in about 10 years of our long lost epic, "Saturation". Also, recent versions of "Condition Me", a new work-in-progress called "Dying". You can check them out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/BestBuggiesFan

This is actually a belated announcement.. Last night we played a somewhat last minute set on WMFO's On The Town with Mikey D thanks to host and all-around good guy Joel Simches. Even though it's too late to hear the set in real time, the whole show is available until next Wednesday as a series of 3 MP3s that are downloadable. Our live set is toward the end of Part 2 and carries into most of part 3 (including our interview). It came out great and is the first live recording featuring the 4-piece line up with Chuck Freeman. For you long-time fans, there are some old songs as well as 2 new songs you may not have heard. Try to copy and paste these links: http://130.64.87.16/archive/2008-11-12-22.mp3 http://130.64.87.16/archive/2008-11-12-23.mp3
If they don't work, go to wmfo.org click on the shows tab and click on On The Town That brings up a window that has clickable links.
Also, don't forget or big International Pop Overthrow set at Church on Fri Nov 21 @ 11 pm!

A couple of weeks ago, The Doom Buggies appeared on The Bay State Rock program on WAAF. We had a good time and played a short acoustic set. Unfortunately, Chuck couldn't be there in person, but contributed none the less by supplying his optical theremin, which was used to effect in our acoustic version of Galaxy Girl. We also did Mystified, a relic from our catalogue in the newfangled acoustical style. Check out both of these, as well as our unreleased classic, Big Cheese now up on our Myspace page.
