Today Dave celebrates his birthday at the side of the Lord.

I'm sure he would have appreciated all the kind messages send by all of his myspace friends.

We will remember him in our prayers. And yes indeed, he will live on in his music!

Many birthday wishes have arrived for Dave, but all in vain. Obviously people haven't noticed the messages I put up Dave's profile. Dave is now in a place where birthday's are of no more importance. Or do they celebrate birthday's in heaven? We can only guess. And we only can commemorate our beloved ones ...

Dear friends of Dave Adrian,

This is Liesbet again. I worked myself through all the friends requests and messages Dave received in the time after his decease. Unbelievable how many there were. I didn't know where to start. Well, a message at the time was the right way. Also, many condolences arrived in the inbox. I'll pass them to Patsy, Dave's wife. I try to check Dave's account a few times a week.

Because Patsy can't affort to buy a gravestone for Dave, we will try to organize a benefit/tribute with some gigs. We are still looking for some bands who want to play. We haven't set a date yet. The location will be in a bar in Roeselare (Belgium). Details wil we added later. If bands or performers are interested let me know! mail me at: liesbet.lanssens@gmail.com.

Of couse everyone will be invited that evening!

Dear friends of Dave Adrian,

This is Liesbet. I bring you the sad news that Dave Adrian has died unexpectedly on 26th of October 2006 of a heart malfunction.

My prayers are with his wife Patsy, and there kids Richard and Michael that they may find the strength to stand through this hard times and one day go on with their lives.

Some close friends of Dave will keep this page open! His music will live on. There are still many new friend requests, we will try to answer them on regular bases.

A new linke to " Music in Belgium " with a pending review , and to " The Country Home page " with a review top of page have been added . This leads me to music reflections I would like to modestly share :

The growing huge amount of musicians everywhere represents a new class of people in society . From the spirited Soul , to the freewheeling Southern Rock , through the frustrated Metal I can relate to , to the subdued Folk , to the Psychadelic that never died , etc... a flood wave of  creative energy one only has to check out to feel . Politics , religions , medias suffer for information/disinformation syndroms and loose followers . Music does not force any issue , it is simply there to listen and lift the stressed minds of our fellow humans . It is food for the inner soul of any listener . It is freedom , and no one can stop it any more with high technology , counter acting the bad use it has in many controlled presentation of this supreme Art . An awesome blessing in our troubles times , I am proud to be part of it ; it keeps me alive in the true sense of the word , as so many others . .

A radio upload has been placed on " SongPlanet.Inc " . A new French Canadian CD review ( " Info-Culture / Montreal ) has been placed on the homepage , and also a new press article on the book .

The new Bob Dylan CD " Modern Times " is rising to the top in the U.S. charts ; I have not heard it personally . It is a good thing , it can only bring back and add interest on the " real " music .

On the other hand , it also is a definition of how a big name can carry an artist's carreer forward , as opposed to the hundreds of very , very potentially talented singer songwriters to be found for instance on " Myspace " , where many were relegated into a background of unknown artists .

I think this is a crucial matter , that deserves a song . I feel I belong sometimes to this " other side of the coin " of the music industry . Not a protest song , a state of affairs , the true " pulse of the times " ... ( could be the title . ) I would be curious of any opinions on that ; thanks .
