The Hands will be joined onstage by The Hi-Fi-Doley-T Horns and will be previewing BRAND NEW SONGS! Put it in your diary and head to The Basement website to get your tickets. Thanks to everyone who came to our recent shows in Melbourne, Canberra and The Vanguard in Sydney. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

It's almost time for The Hands annual Christmas Special. As you know members of The Hands also play with a whole bunch of different bands.
For this show we will invite an array of different artists we have performed with throughout the year to join us, so stay tuned for special guest updates!

This is a great show for Christmas parties as well since it's about time to start booking those in, and there will be quite a few well known special guests as well as a killer set from The Hands! It's a Monday night, but hey, it's the silly season so expect a big one, and it's the only Sydney show left this year! We have a special offer for friends of The Hands to get their tickets now for a cheaper price. The early bird special is available till the end of October.Once the advertising starts and the guests are announced the price will increase so get your tickets early! There will be a lot of guests so limited tickets will be on sale, this show will sell out!

We will also be heading back to Lizotte's on December 16th.We love this venue and the food is amazing! We had such a great show last time we were there we thought we would head back!

Just letting you know. Clayton and Lachlan Doley will be performing LIVE TO AIR on ABC SYDNEY 702 this thursday as part of James Valentine's afternoon show between 1 - 3pm. Tune in and hear these brothers use an old drum machine and a Moog bass, as well as the Hammond and Clavinet, to play some curious renditions of a selection of songs of their new album "Everything is Wonderful"

We are just about to head off on tour, check out when we are in your local area in our Tour Dates section. Manchester Lane in Melbourne is our first stop Wednesday July 30th! Sydneysiders, get your tickets now for the Single Launch at The Basement August 22nd! The last show at The Basement was sold out and it's a Friday so expect a BIG ONE!

The Hands will be appearing on Kerri-Anne tomorrow, Friday May 23rd performing the first single 'More and More and More' from the new album 'Everything Is Wonderful'.

We will try and try and get a copy up on the myspace for those of you who don't get a chance to watch it, so stay tuned.

A big thanks to everyone who came to our album launch! It was an amazing night, we had a fantastic time and hope you did too. Sorry to anyone who didn't make it in. While its very exciting to have sold out at The Basement it's always hard turning poeple away who want to see the show.

We will be announcing more shows very soon as well as a national tour so please keep checking in. The new album is in stores and on itunes THIS SATURDAY May 3rd, so look out for it.

Triple J has already played a couple of tracks from the new album which we are very happy about, it you get a chance to request your favourite song from the new album on http://www.triplej.net.au/requests/  it would be much apppreciated. Triple J's 2008 program, Roots'n'all program and Home 'n Hosed all have guestbooks where you can write gig reviews. We would love to see some up there!!
