There is an issue with iTUNES. Do not buy my CD there because there is a problem with the way the CD is listed. The artist name is wrong. It now says that my tracks are by Hitomi Yaida, a J-POP singer. This is wrong. It should be ( ) as it was before. Take a look: DO NOT BUY ( ) from iTUNES for the time being or directly from http://www.parenthesismusic.com. Just contact me and I will send you a signed copy. Instead, buy the CD from CDBABY.COM Here is the link: http://cdbaby.com/cd/parenthesisIt has been almost a month since I contacted iTUNES and CDBABY. I just noticed this before I left for Berlin. New CD coming out soon!!! ( )

I closed my 'clipped' account on myspace. It seemed unnecessary and recently some spam-King hacked into all of my profiles. It makes me a little nervous and wary of all of these social networking sites. There are marketers who want in. So, be careful who accept adds from and change your password once in awhile. Also, less is more. Add me here if you were a 'friend' there.

'enjuku' SIGNED LIMITED EDITION ENHANCED CD and installation at FRONT ROOM GALLERY BROOKLYN, NEW YORK for MULTIPLES AND EDITIONS v2 My new Enhanced CD "Enjuku" is part of Multiples and Editions, vol. 2 at The Front Room Gallery. I have also done an installation version of it with sound and video which will be on view at the gallery until this weekend. A short excerpt of the sound appears this week on One Minute Vacation http://www.quietamerican.org/vacation.html'The sound of percussion from rain water on crushed up Kirin cans in the Koenji neighborhood, on my lastnight in Tokyo, Japan. The cans said "Enjuku" which means: ripeness, mellowness, maturity, perfection. This piece presented itself to me as I was walking in the night. I felt happy in the rain recording this. This is an Enhanced CD consisting of field recordings and video shot and recorded on a rainy night in Tokyo. The CD has audio tracks and the videos are viewable as QuickTime Movies on a computer (MAC or PC). The CD will be available at the gallery. Jeremy

please do not post a comment if you are only trying to promote yourself. i am sick of "comments" that are self promotional in nature. i understand that you are trying to get the word out, but it is quite obnoxious to use someone else who is also trying to get their music out to promote yourself. please have a look/listen to my stuff and send me an email instead.
thank you.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nue A nue is a legendary creature found in Japanese folklore. It has the head of a monkey, the body of a raccoon dog, the legs of a tiger, and a snake instead of a tail. A nue can also transform into a black cloud and fly around. Due to its appearance, it is sometimes referred to as a Japanese chimera. Nue are bringers of misfortune and illness. According to The Tale of the Heike, the Emperor of Japan became sick after a nue took up residence atop his palace in the summer of 1153. After the samurai Minamoto no Yorimasa killed the creature, the emperor recovered. The most famous story involving the nue takes place in the year 1153, at the imperial palace in Kyoto. Emperor Konoe begins having terrible nightmares every night, to the point that he falls ill, and it seems that the source is a dark cloud that appears on the palace roof every night at two in the morning. The problem is eventually solved by Yorimasu Minamoto, who stakes out the roof one night and fires an arrow into the cloud, out of which falls a dead nue. Yorimasu then takes the body and sinks it into the Sea of Japan. A local expansion of the story exists, in which the nue's corpse floats into a certain bay and the locals, fearing a curse, bury it. The mound where the beast lies can still be seen today.
