well, our second concert of the [skool] year just finished. i thought it went pretty good.
we split the concert with a local middle skool. they played the first half, we played the second half, and then we played a final piece together. it was kool. the middle skool kids were quite funny. i guess thats probably how i was too when i was in middle skool. haha. but yeah.

well yeah. i have to work tomorrow.  but yeah. i’m really tired thought. busted an allnighter, only got an hour of sleep. oh yeah, i tood a two hour nap earlier. haha. teresa called me and woke up. haha. but good thing she did, if not i would have probably slept right through the concert. haha. that would have suked. thanks for calling tere! haha

so yeah. imma have my lucky charms then hit the sack. that reminds me, monday is st. patty’s day, so make sure u were ur GREEN haha. but yeah. thats what my sister just told me on the phone. hehe. so yes, lucky charms and bed. awesome. i’ll be back soon.

well yes, i had the first orquestra concert of the year. it went pretty well. we have to last one tomorrow afternoon. but yeah. i was scared/nervous about this one song (cauze i hadnt practiced it much) haha. but it went well.

but yeah. ugh, my midterms begin on monday. not looking forward to it that much. oh, i have to email my TA about something. but yeah.

gosh, last night i went to bed at 10. or was it 11? cant remember. anywho, point is i went to be BEFORE midnight. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!  haha. but yeah. i woke up to some strange stuff. it was really weird. it was as if someone was singing or something. then i heard the piano playing or something. it was REALLY weird and creepy. i hope my room aint haunted or something.

after a nice warm shower and some hot chocalate, i'm ready for bed. haha. but yeah. not much to say. oh, but my dog is missing.  he's been gone for a week now. we think someone stole him. so sad. but our neighbor has a puppy, but her husband doesnt want it so she wants to give us her puppy. we'll see what happens. she's very cute though. and she plays a lot.

Well, i just had my first concert of my sophmore year in college, and the last concert of the year 2007
My family came to see my in my first concert as first-chair clarinet in wind ensemble  To make it even better, it was a Christmas Concert!! yeah, it was lots of fun! hehe.
My mom, dad, sis, grandparents, and my two cuzins came.  hehe. they seemed to enjoy it. that makes me happy. thanks for coming my lovely family! it means a lot! i [heart] ya'll!!! but yeah.
Winter break is coming!!! yay!!!  in exactly a week, imma be arriving home and getting ready for the posadas! i want saturday to come already so i can go home and enjoy my vacation! haha.
well, thats all i have to say. again, thank ya'll who came to my concert. it means a lot. thanks for all of ur support!!! i luv u family!!!!

so the ring that i ALWAYS had on me just broke.  well, not the ring, but the chain were it hanged.

but yea. that makes me sad.

i've had it on for a very very long time. over 4 years i'd say. but yeah. i hope my dad can fix it.

hopefully i'll have it back on soon.

so today, my dad came over to visit me. =D

my grandparents and tio also came. =D

i was so happy. =D

my mommy called me at 10 to let me know [they] would arrive soon. they got here like at 10:30. we came over to drop of the stuff my mom had sent, and then we went to brunch.

we went to IHOP!!! it was good! like they say, "come hungry, leave happy." i sure did leave happy!

but yeah. we then walked around campus. came to my room. my dad bought me my last textbook and listening CDs that i needed. they dropped me off to class, and yeah.

too add to this, my last class of the day was cancelled! haha. so i only had my 2pm class.

but yeah. so now i'm here. imma catch up on my reading now.  we'll see how that goes. haha.

Well, I am certainly enjoying my stay here in Zoochila. i love it! i don´t even want to go back.

So i have had many adventures here. There have been a few drunk nights. hehe. And of course, last sunday, there was that hike. hahaha. gosh man. and NO, we were NOT lost! lol. We went to Zoochina, then to YEA, then to YEB, and ended in Zoogocho. lol. we started at 3pm. got back at 9pm.

lol. we got in trouble, but it was nothing much. lol. it was mostly worrie. but yeah.

and on tuesday, Yalina!! cant wait! so excited!!!

well, there is so much i wish i could tell, but there is not enough time!! i miss you all much!!! i will be back in exactly two weeks.  yeah......

so my parents gave me a surprise visit. i was here in my room watching a movie. my phone rings. it's my mom. i go outside, and bang, they're outside. hehe. i was so not expecting that. haha.this was around 4:09pm.

but yeah. so then we were here. my dad took a short nap (the driving is long and tiring) my mom, sis, and i took a walk out onto campus. we went to go see the belltower. we came back. my parents went to renew their parking pass thingy. i got ready for the concert.

they dropped me off at the theater while they went to get something to eat. after our before-the-concert-rehearsal, i went out (around 7:30pm) and my parents bought me a McChicken. =) it was good. the fries were a bit salty, but it was good. and that Hi-C was soooo refreshing! hehe.

then they entered the theater, i went to my place. and bang! we beging the concert. it was pretty kool.

my solo went fairly well. hehe. my dad thought i would run out of air (it is a breth-taking solo) but i didnt. hehe. i think that was the best i have played it. hehe. but yeah. it was awesome having my family in the audience. my dad really like that piece, and my solo of course. hehe.

intermissiong was fun.us woodwind girls (except the flutes) were having an awesome conversation. our time was up and we returned to our spots. i got poked. haha. my sister wanted to sing along with the mezo-soprano lady that was singing with us. hehe. and the piece was in spanish too. hehe. then, Goyescas Intermission, omg. AMAZING piece!! u MUST listen to it. then i took a break ( i didnt play the last piece). and then ::applause applause:: the concert ended and so did our 2006-2007 orchestra year. it was fun.

so yeah. my parents came up to my room (yes, it is a bit messy. hehe) my sister had some cereal. and now, they are on their way to lynwood. but yeah. awesome evening. gosh man, i love my family! =)

so yeah. my lips are burning. they need some Carmex. but yeah. i think i'll have some cereal now. hehe. ok then. i will leave you now. toodles. =)

so yeah, i'm back from my concert. it was good. i didnt screw up my solo, but i almost did. haha. funny story.

so i have this bracelet with strings that hand on it. before the actual concert, we were rehearsing. we were playing the piece were i have a solo. but right before my solo, i have a page turn. haha. so as i was turning the page, my bracelet got stuck on my instrument. haha. i laughed to myself and though "it would really suck if this actually happens during the concert." well, as you can guess, it happened. but it got TANGLED on my instrument. haha. i was like SH*T (of course not out loud, i was in the middle of a concert). i started to panic, i tried playing just like that, but i couldnt properly reach the keys cauze my wrist was tangled to the middle part of my instrument, and i needed to reach the bottom keys. i tried to untangle it, but my hand was shaking cauze i was panicking! haha. i finally got it free. haha. i laughed in my head as i continued to playing. and a few measures later, my solo came. haha.

it's funny cauze it seems like this incident took time, but haha, it was a matter of seconds. the other clarinetist noticed and was giggling to herself. haha. i would have too. haha.

but yeah. that was my story. i got to stand for that piece cauze of my solo. =D

but yeah. tomorrow the night is the last performance (of the year with orchestra). my parents MIGHT come to watch me; my dad is really sick, so i dunno if they will make it. but its ok. i mean, they're only gonna the first time i have ever had a solo part since i joined orchestra, but its ok. i'm fine with it. =)

but yeah. after a performance, i get hungry. so u can imagine: i'm hungry!!
i'm gonna have some cereal. but i cant decide what to have.

cherios? frosted flakes? coco puffs? coco krispies? lucky charms? froot loops?
i dunno. hard choices. haha.

ok, imma eat cauze tengo hambre. and then i guess i'll go to bed. we'll see.

i went to bed last night around 12:30 or 1am (i'd say that's pretty early). so yeah. i think i knocked out right away. anywho. i start dreaming......

so i guess because of the incident that happened sunday night (with the cop and all), and with lindsay lohan's arrest and rehab and all, well, i had a dream. haha.

so i dreamed that we were out (nikki, tere, and sophia) and i was driving. next thing i know, we got pulled over (this time was for real. haha). apperantely, i was driving under the influence. haha. so i got arrested, but then i busted and Lohan and said i was injured so then i went to the hospital. haha. i called my lawyer (who for some strange reason is the first oboe player in orchestra. that's crazy, i have no idea why he was in my dream. anywho) next thing i know, i'm being sent to rehab. haha. my counselor (who is also my lawyer. weird, i know) was talking to me. he was telling me that if i dont do good in rehab, that my music career was gonna be taken from me. i start crying. we talk, and then i'm in rehab. haha. and i think thats when i woke up.

there's more detail and junk that happened, but that's the main idea. but what i dont get, HOW COME I HAVE TO GO REHAB AND NOT tere, nikki, and sophia?!!! not fair!!! they had some drinks as well!!! haha.

i woke up tired. i got a full 7hrs of sleep, but i guess i didnt rest well because of the dream. haha. i should take a nap. haha. but yeah. it's pretty weird. haha.

so yeah, sunday....

gosh man. so that cop, i honestly think he was cute! but now, after sophia told what he really said and what i responded, i feel kinda stupid. i honestly fucken heard him say "i love u girls" so i responded with "i love you too!"

i did hear him ask "how old are all of you" thats why i was like 18, 18, 18, 19. but gosh man, imma feel pretty stupid if i responded with "we love u too" haha

but still, it was tonz of fun!! [good thing it wasnt a female cop. haha. and i still think he was cute!!
