Dear friends,
since long time, here I'm back... Writing you about how the things are going here around us :o) The new album (4th) "Spectrum" is at the point to be finished, just really little missing. And while the last songs are mixed and polished, I'm having fun with my piano.. After such a long time composing, editing, recording and concentrading on production, I just needed to do something easy and for fun. So I just took some of my favourite songs, looked for the chords and lyrics and started to play them on my own way together with my piano ;o) Really fun. Love to do that ;o)
Here a link to some of them. I opened a channel on youtube called MusicPatricia. There I will go on uploading whenever I have another one ready ;o) Hope you have fun with this tracks. I had it ;o) *Big smile*
A big hug to all of you! Take care ;o) Yours Patricia

We are happy to present you our new single: "Where life and the sea...". For us, it's a really special song, as well as for our keyboarder, Joan Berenguer, who's taking part on this unusual duet. The song is not only mixing sounds, but also languages, as we do the most of the time in our daily life.
Finally, next month will be the release of our new album, "Positivity". We can't wait to have the first copy on our hands... But untill then, we hope you like this little advance!!

Current mood: thankful
Last year, we spent some days in Santorini, Greece, and we lived some sunsets in Ia. It was magic! The sunset itself is beautiful, like the ones you can see in most mediterranean islands; but the people and their way to live it makes it special.
It's not like Café del mar famous sunsets, with a music soundtrack. In Ia, a big crowd little by little starts filling the colourful small streets, in silence, like holding their breath to hear the noise that it makes the sun when touching the sea. 15 magical minutes that end up with the last ray of our sun dissapearing, and people exploding in a spontaneous applause, trying to thank whoever made this spectacle possible...
There we got the need of making this song, and during the year, we were writing it with our memories of Santorini and the winter sunsets in Roses (Spain), where we live.
We are proud of presenting you this song from our upcoming album "Positivity", included in the compilation "Café del mar Vol. 14". We hope you like it!

Last details.
"Positivity" is almost finished. We're working on the last datails and changes and to be sincere, we are really happy with the results. We still have no dates of the release of our third album, waiting for the recordlabel to decide about that. But we hope it will be really soon!
For the ones who are really curious, they will have the opportunity to listen to a track in advance: The song "Land of eternal sunset" it's on the new compilation Café del Mar Vol. 14, that did come out last end of May.
The rest of "Positivity" mixes really chilled songs like "Citylife", "Wintertime", "Life and the sea..." or "Twilight" with songs that have more a touch of pop like"Angel del mediterraneo", "By you", "I don't wanna talk about it", among others... In this way, Almadrava continues developing an own style, which some already name Chill pop.

During the last couple of years since "All you left us" came out, the promotion and the concerts were in one side, but the door of the studio was never closed. That means that now we have a nice collections of new songs and ideas, ready to become part of what it should be our third album. We are excited, since creation is possibly our favourite part, and now it's the time to finalize arrangements, lyrics and start recording.
We just wanted to share this important moment for us with you all!
Ah! If anybody has curiosity to hear what a chillout band can do on the terrain of hard rock, please, have a look at "Pensator's Project", here at Myspace.

Current mood: impressed
We must be already 10 days old at MySpace... No, don't sing Happy Birthday or anything like that. It's a nice way for meeting new people, but it's specially a really nice way to hear new music. We got really impressed with some of the songs we could hear in some of your sites (music bands or people that added). Simply amazing... We wish we had more time to surf around your worlds... well! at least some minutes a day.
Keep on MUSICing

So...
We are new on this site. Still a little bit lost, but we feel like sharing with the whole world our passion for making music, and our way to understand it. We still don't know what we will write here, or if that's going to interest anyone. But what we do know is that we are not going to stress about it! Chill out!!!
