Current mood:  cheerful
Hi friends. It's been a long time since I've reached out from TW Land, and I wanted to let everyone know that my new single "Guess I'll Never Get It" is now available for download on iTunes and Amazon. I hope that you can be so kind as to fork over the .99 cents and show your support! It would be GREATLY appreciated! Hope this finds everyone well, and happiest of happy holidays to you!

So who's with us for some Kansas fun time? Arriving in Lawrence Sunday night for some fun in the humid sun all next week.

Just a quick reach out to our friends in Lawrence, Kansas City and Topeka. I hope you can make it out on Thursday night, June 4th, even if only to the earlier solo show at the Granada. I understand for some of you 40-hour-a-week friends, late nights at the Jazzhaus are out of the question.

Thursday night at the Granada Theater, at 8pm, I will be taking the stage solo in support of good friend Lisa Donnelly, returning from the depths of Los Angeles for a special hometown CD release. Tickets are $8 advance and $10 at the door. Visist www.thegranada.com for more details...

Following fun times and great music at the Granada, we will be taking the stage for two full band sets at the Jazzhaus, starting at 10pm. Billy Wassung Band starts the evening off. Look for a Wobbly H set of some old cover favorites thrown in as well.

Packing up my Gibby, chucks and phone charger. Let's rage.

Why hello there. How's your Spring doing? Springy? Quit playin' with your Springy!!

Wanted to take a quick moment to mention we've uploaded a number of live tracks from both the Canal Room as well as three in-studio performances from Tainted Blue Studios. Take a listen and tell us what you think! In-Studio recordings will be available for purchase within the next few months, and we hope you come back to take them home with you. Put 'em in your pocket, don't let nobody hawk it.

Thought about it. I'm in.

Good afternoon ladies and lads!

A quick note that we've added three tracks from our in studio performance at Tainted Blue Studios in Times Square as part of the Artists' Loft Series. Check out tracks "Skin," "Faultline," and "Guess I'll Never Get It."

Are you on Facebook? We'll assume that's a yes. CHECK THIS OUT!

We're also pleased to announce that Tanner will be heading back to Mixtape SoundLab in Lawrence for a few days in the studio with long-time friend and uber talented producer/engineer Jerett Fulton. Short but sweet. That's what makes hits!

We love your faces!

we luv 2 play 4 u!

And the shows come pouring in. Just booked a show with Nick Hilton at the Canal Room this Thursday, March 12th.

We'll continue to book shows this coming Spring, so please stay tuned. Saturation feeds annoyance. Words to live by, I say.

It's a rainy, yet temperature-friendly day in Brooklyn. I'm headed to Le Poussion Rouge in Greenwich Village to catch my friend Danielle's set to honor her new EP release, which myself and Justin Hosek both contributed on. Think Lauryn Hill meets Nina Simone meets Coldplay. Meets your Mom.

I'm goin' back to my Hyundai.

Do yourself a great favor and check out the album "Five Roses" by Miracle Fortress. It's euphoric, start to finish.

I'm really into these massively stacked vocal tracks lately. Hmm...

I'd show you the album cover, but MySpace is being a little beyotch.

Enjoy, please.

Currently listening to....

Album Leaf's "Green Tour" EP
Ari Hest's "Autumn Songs" and Summer Songs" both from 52
Ben Kweller's "Changing Horses"
Harry Nilsson's Greatest Hits
Tiki Obmar's "High School Confidential"
The Walkmen's "Everyone Who Pretended..." and "You & Me"
Sufjan Steven's "Illinois"
Caribou's "The Milk of Human Kindness"
Lots of Alan Lomax collections

That's to name a few. Oh, and I should probably also mention the Ranchero music blaring from my neighbor's window, ritually, every day, between the hours of 1-3pm. Sometimes he has it just loud enough that I can feel it in my walls. I love it not.

Stay tuned for full band shows announced for the Spring. At the moment, we've just confirmed Spike Hill in Williamsburg on March 31st. We hope you can make it out! Spike Hill is located right off the Bedford L stop on Bedford and N. 7th. Let's play Twister.

Bring me a higher love, Mr. Winwood!

... to 2008's "Ultimate Destroyer Throw Down Fiesta" show??????

Monday, December 8th.

Stay tuned. Or else!
Thursday, November 20, 2008
Monday, December 8th, I'll be playing at a rather interesting room in Hell's Kitchen as part of an online webcast.

The show will be entirely acoustic, with Brad Maestas joining me on bass. They'll have three cameras running to broadcast on their website, as they encourage everyone to sit somewhat around the artist, much like VH1's Storytellers.

Candles, libations and hookahs, which I believe I will encourage during the performance!

The Door Lounge
506 9th Ave (between 38th and 39th Streets)
Monday, December 8th
8pm
FREE

Drinks are reasonably priced, and suffice to say, they have hookahs!! And remember, the show is EARLY, so there's still time for plenty of sleep to get to work the next morning.

Mark your calendars and I hope you all can make it. Also, if you have any friends you'd like to bring along, please by all means do so! Thanks again!

best,
T
