No no, NO NO!!! lets see now i think i last left u guys a lil something bout two weeks ago harkin on bout the wonders of NYC!! well peeps there's a bit more! in the past month or so i well and truly DID North America and Canada, saw what can only be described as police, camera action in Paris and sang at THE MOST amazing mansion just outside bari in southern italy! So first things first, my New York trip came to a close in true style, with the biggest frozen apple martini on the planet! seems mr photobucket wants to play silly buggers with my pics so APOLOGIES if ya heads are on the side, but what can ya do!!! i managed to squeeze in a last minute trip to central park (and yes i did search for central perk !!!! MASSIVE "FRIENDS" FAN, but no joy booooo!) then its was up in the mornin for our next venture TORONTO!!!! people trust me this place was the nuts! poor carla ended up loosing her case on the flight and got bitten by a mozzy on the plane (worst luck!!) but we arried in the minus degrees safe and sound!!! not without a little farewell to the big apple!!! oh yeh and got to see the wonderful lady liberty too just for the record! so on arrival in canada, we hotstepped it to our hotel, the wonderful downtowner inn, where we quickly enlisted the help of the other residents to come to my first canadian show! and it was kick ass may i say! the crowd were awesome the sound was top notch and managed to bag meself a deal with warner brothers music to release my music!! how cool!!!!!! then i got well and truly snowed on, on the way home a la frosty the FRO MAN!!!! and yes as i said in the last vid ( again apologies for the wonkeyness but not the most computer literate, any help greatly appreciated!!!) i ws the dare devil and went to the CN tower.......... and hell yeah i went up to the top thats right 475 metres in the air i was standing on A GLASS FLOOR!!!! and i most definitely will not do it again, am petrified of heights! once feet firmly not on the glass floor it was time for a sneaky beverage to ease my nerves but funnily enough i was still up in the bloody tower! following that day my feet were firmly on the ground workin the toronto nightlife and havin a giggle as the work was done.... only thing was we were 'briefly' stuck in the worst snowstorm in 20 years, THE NIGHT BEFORE WE LEFT!!!!! and so was my farewell to the cold and a big HELLO to the San Diego SUN........ hooray! so we arrived in san diego and course as a true brit i was in the vest getting my tan on!!!! and realised i could be arty with my camera too! black and white dont u know! then got right down with the locals on coronado island and my (but my managers' inlaws) and rocked around on what can only be described as the WICKEDEST bicycle OF ALLLLLLL TIME!! next up was the beach where OF COURSE the top came off, and the beer was in hand! had a day off after all!!!! yeah i know the shades are a bit lenny kravitz, but hey 'when in rome' whatever that means!! ;0) then it was time for the work as i call it!! did my show to an awesome audience at 'dizzy's' winery in san diego and had a great time, my special guest was local 'kick ass songstress' stef johnson!' gooooood tiiiiiiimes from san diego it was off to the wonder that was hollywood, fourth time there, met some wicked people, writers, producers........ and shot a video for 'choke', but that my friends is for another blog!!! this is NJ signing off for now cos y fingers hurt! til next time, ADIOS! So UK soul well and truly touched down in NYC! wasnt a busy show but the crowd enjoyed so all gravy! Gotta sayin was brickin it a little u know first show in a new city and my 1st in NYC especially but fun and games am raring for the next now! so figured was a bout time i put some snaps up for u guys from trip start to present day! SO HEEEEREE GOES! we begin at the Virgin Atlantic Lounge at heathrow! WOW OH WOW! Never one to have a lil champs with breakfast but hey when in rome...... went down well with the salmon and scrambled egg he he! flight was awesome and landed at decent time and where did we go........... STR8 to Times Square WHERE else! I know its bit touristy but thats what i am as sting said 'englishman in new york! So get busy with them bright lights! Don't get it wrong i'm a true brit but piccadilly needs to FIX UP!

After that figured i should go out and see some more of this wonderful city so me and the lovely carla (the woman who keeps my ass in check!) went down to ground zero! it was an unforgettable experience to imagine what happened left me cold! And a small video for ya too, check the amount of names behind me on the board ........ the scale of what happened is just scarey! sorry its on the side!!! but you get the jist!

That night my home girl estelle invited us to her show at Joe's Pub and she smashed so u know i'm gonna have to follow suit and do a gig there on my return in may! and the shades were that good....... had to rock em myself! Next day was spent with a bit of a sore head out and about but only made it as far as one of THE MANY trump towers near central park! think i may have to call my buddy donald and get some of that trump money flowin my way! ha ha this is NJ signing off for now, tomorro gonna do the staten island ferry and go see that wonderful liberty lady watch this space! and PS in the Uk listen out for choke and back to you on the radio, new single comin at ya! so what can i say i'm in the big apple! bit tired but slowly adjusting to the ways of this kick ass place! got my first show tonight with some big music peeps comin down to check the afro touch down!!! fun and games all the way! will be posting regular blogs up here (maybe even with some cool pics and film snips so keep ya eyes peeled)!Anyone one of my myspacers in NYC i'll be at Bar 169 (169 East Broadway, corner of Essex and Canal!) tonight at 9pm. so here we be! today ladies and gents i started work on my as yet (tho i have an idea), untitled new album!!! only a couple weeks before i go to the US to give em some big tunes and even BIGGER hair!! gotta say bit nervous but more than anything EXCITED bout the trip! New York, LA, Canada, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco, Texas... the list goes on! hope to catch some of the US groovers on my travels! As for my UK family, will see you guys on the 14th feb at Stratford Circus for my valentines special!!!! Much love and soul NJ ;0)

Just wanted to say to all, thanks to all my myspace groovers for the support in 2007! been a mad year, with all kinds of twists and turns, but fun all the same! I'm headin to the USA start of 2008, so y'all better be ready for the fro to land haha!!! so i think that in future if i got a gig the following night i should take my happy ass to bed! not go for beers with the band didnt drink that many... HONEST! was just knackered as you can see......... and of course after the show had to leave my mark on the ceiling. had to do it in gold so it stood out among the crowd!!!! then back to tokyo it was via the AWESOME bullet train!! i aint no train spotter but them trains is fast.........simon loving it as u can see, pissing myself while takin pic!.......... and as the closing note on the japan trip.... one of my mum's favourite sayings, found it on the tube in tokyo, love it!!!.......

so yep you guessed it we in tokyo again and lovin every minute!! except this time i'm touring and the awesome natalie williams is with me!! its like home from home!!! me her and si profilin like only we do haha!!!!! so we arrived in tokyo yeasterday tired as hell from the 11 hour flight but all is good , we had a snooze and then went for some ramen noodles and OH MY DAYS! found some cool bar called gas panic in the shibuya area of tokyo so we had a drink or two....... or three and the story goes on either way the crew had some fun for sure!!!! then after the rum n coke and vodka red bull we decided to get lil silly ( well i did!!) rockin so PUKKA PURPLE SHADES courtesy of ms hannah vasanth check em out!!! ........ and later that eve people were beginnin to mistake for some dude called 'Norbit'????? dunno why but what the hey!!........ ah so another mornin and lord knows after lasts nites 'couple beers' i needed so r & r so my lovely a&r man ichi took me to the wonder that is starbucks and i munched hard and drank my caramel coffe frapuccino happy as larry .............. what can i say PRAISE THE LORD FOR SMALL THINGS!! from the relentless promo it was off to 'duo music exchange' in tokyo for my soundcheck n bugga me as i pulled up outside i saw this amazing people carrier........... why i hear u ask ........COS MY UGLY MUG IS PLASTERED ALL OVER IT!!! CHECK IT OUT ITS THE NATE MOBILE, FORGET BATMAN!!!!! i tell ya one thing when the japanese wanna promote a mans album they DON'T BUSINESS!!!!! ;0) show was awesome will have some footage for ya soon but for now, just see my happy face outside the first of my japanese dates!!!! lovin every minute, osaka here we come.............. oh and as a closing note a lil bit of fun for ya..............guess who's belly is who's, there a choice of karlos, ben or me, after a feast fit for a king!!!! answers on a postcard to...........ha ha jus kiddin ADIOS!!! So aint done one of these for a while, and feel now, all the way from japan (yep here again) i should say hey to the blog massive! gonna be doin a lil day by day situation of my trip out here but first i should show u this.... yes ladies and gents, myself, mr simon king and the stunning jo jo whats are grinning from ear to ear! "why?" i hear u ask because of this man.............. yes we were lucky enough to get tickets to go see the legend that is lionel richie. apparently i bear a striking resemblence to the soul man (dont see it meself) compliment all the same!! ;0) the concert was awesome he sang out hits from, in his own words, 'the 70's 80's 90's and now and BOY HAS HE GOT SOME TUNES!!! ballerina girl, hello, easy like sunday mornin and of course ALL NITE LONG!! tooshes were a shakin and i advise if he comes back to blighty that y get yaself there!!! so thats my add done!! lionels people would be proud!! back in a mo................
