We just couldn't wait for ya to hear our new stuff. Yes, physical CD's with artwork and all the hoopla are coming, but for those living in the instantly gratifying digital age, you don't need to wait for such things.

Well, back in April we started tracking 5 new songs at The Black Lab studios with Mr. Jules Hodgson.  What came out of those sessions is easily the best, most cohesive work The Liars Club has recorded. We are tinkering with final mixes and should be done tonight (5/5) then off to mastering at Jupiter Studios with Martin Feveyear. So if all goes well you guys will be seeing the new EP, Bottle Fed, out by Early June. We sure hope everyone likes it as much as we do.

In the meantime, come down to one of our many shows and get a preview of the new material performed live. We will be at The Sunset on 5/14 for the Seattle Subsonic anniversary show with C_Leb and The Celebrity Orphans. That show's gonna be a big party. We'll also be back at The Skylark Cafe and at Flights in Everett in June. An eventful summer is in the works for The Liars Club, we hope you all take part. More later....

Yes it does. But that doesn't mean it isn't a necessary evil. So The Liars Club are now on Twitter.  All I can say is, people are watching.  Bookers, other bands, club owners, radio dj's, a&r people look at things like Twitter following, Myspace friend and play counts, and the ability to google your name and find news in the blogs. It's not just about music anymore, if it ever was. So is it stupid? Yes! Will it help? Maybe. But you can be part of it by listening to our music to boost play counts, embed a song on your site, send friends our way, and follow us on Twitter. We'll try and keep it interesting. I think maybe we all just died a little.

It's kinda nice right now. We are whippin up some new material that we are all very excited about, so when february brings us to the doorsteps of The Black Lab Studios, we will be ready.  These are the first songs we've written as a band since Alex and Steve joined earlier in the year, and the dynamics have only gotten better. Also gonna get some more merch, t's and buttons and such. New shows for the new year. It's gonna be a helluva good year for The Liars Club. With any luck the new EP will be ready by early spring. And we can't wait for you to hear it. Come to the shows and catch the new material as we work it out live before recording.

p.s. we've had some fans that created artwork for us. We think that's great and if you all send em to us we'll post them and maybe even use them for t-shirt designs, fliers, logos, etc.

You want louder, darker, harder, more melodic? You got it. New songs will be premiering at our upcoming shows. That means if you don't come, you won't hear them. If you like where we've been, then you'll like where we're going. Thanks for your support, and we'll see ya at the shows.

Wow. Possibly the best review yet. It seems obvious to me that these guys at Sonic Dice know their shit. Take a look, and please comment on their and our site, it looks good. On another note, we have been playing a ton of shows lately and have a ton more so be sure to check in frequently, in the works are possible shows at The Sunset, and a showcase with Seattle Subsonic. Good times.

Well, another review of our EP has landed from The Weekly Volcano.  Overall I think it is quite flattering, but I think you should judge for yourselves.  Click this link and check it out. It would be nice to get some feedback on the Don Henley/Glen Frye reference. (that put a smile on my face)
