Gregg Potter, drummer for Dark Star Records recording artist Supermercado, wins 2008-2009 Chicago/Midwest Emmy award for “Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence on Camera Programming Performer” also featuring Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) and Damon Ranger (Blackbox). Emmy’s were awarded on November 7, 2009 at the Park West, Chicago. Gregg had to leave the Emmy’s early to perform with Supermercado, who opened for international recording artist, Steelheart, and then had to return to the Emmy’s to collect his award. Gregg Potter is also featured in the horror thriller movie JEZEBETH.
