Dear fans, 

I hope you're all well.

This wednesday I was invited to play at one of the most popular radio shows in France: Le Fou du Roi on France Inter. Not only did Janne and me have the pleasure of performing two songs live, also we met the wonderful singer, actress and frenchie-songwriting-guru Serge Gainsbourg's former wife Jane Birkin who was also a guest at the show. Janne played Floating Around on a Caribbean steel pan which we had just bought in Hamburg and I played Girls Just Wanna Have Fun together with the pianist of the show. I uploaded both of the tracks for you, you can here my voice tremble a little probably owing to the 1,50m-away-presence of Madame Birkin.

The next morning my overflowing email inbox made me notice that celebrity blogger Perez Hilton had taken a break from mocking Madonna and Kayne West to feature my version of Boys Don't Cry on his site. Besides hundreds of new fans, public perception on the site itself wasn't quite that raving. Top 3 comments including the word "ugh" and modifications of it:

1. Ugh… I just threw up a little

2. UHHHHHHHGHHHHHHHH seriously perez that was BAD

3. urgh! that was aweful!
