Hi folks - lots of stuff going on in Hall Brothers land!

First up - Songs from the Shore and Time and Tragedy (the two studio albums that have ever been CD releases) are now availabe internationally from most download sites - iTunes, Napster, E-music, Amazon downloads, etc.  Please enjoy!

To celebrate we're soon to release a single, 'Send Me a Light' - more details very soon.

Also I've made a special dance mix of the traditional 'Banks of the Nile' available to download from this site: please help yourselves and TURN IT UP AND JIG ABOUT!!

Oh and lastly - Mortal has been getting some good radio play of late - please request it at your radio station of choice (including national stations!) as it seems to be getting out there!

Cheers people!

Hey - who's coming to the Hardraw Gathering?  See you there, if you do!

We're playing on Friday night in a concert (concert starts 7.45pm - we're second on; Dave Burland is finishing off that night)  Also Saturday afternoon, HOPEFULLY on the bandstand (depending on weather) - after 3, with Duncan McFarlane.

See...

Hi Folks!

We'll be playing three songs and presumably chatting a bit on the Durbevilles' Folk and Roots show on Sunday night (July 1st), between 8 and 9.  You can listen live online, and can use their listen again feature.  Will post the details of that shortly.

We will also be giving you a live preview of our forthcoming single!  More details of that all over the place (we're hyping it like mad, because it's going to be a hit, I tell you!!!) - some information here, for Facebook users (or those who have no objection to joining up...)

Why not tune in to hear a live session and interview from the Hall Brothers, between 8 and 9 (British Summer Time) pm on Tim Moon's "Folk Us!" programme on Bradford Community Radio.  If you live in the area you can listen on 96.7 FM.  If you live elsewhere in the world, listen online.  It will be repeated at a later date on Radio Britfolk.

Cheers

Hi!  Thanks to everyone who came down and supported us when we were supporting Fairport last night!  We had a fantastic night.  We had been really quite nervous beforehand (supporting out favourite band was always likely to be a scary thing!)  Two things got rid of the nerves for us: one, the sight of Phil Vickers on the sound - the guys a genius and knows our sound back-to-front; two, the sight of so many friendly faces and mates in the crowd.  It's not good to brag, but Nick, John and I all played a blinder, went down a storm, and had a lovely evening watching the mighty Fairport into the bargain!

Very special thanks to our buddy  M.T. Skull for moonlighting as road personnel last night!

Hee hee.  Cool.
