Because of the up-front expense involved in living in NYC, many people do not see their dream internship in the city as an option. Although living here is pretty expensive, did you know that there are several summer housing options available exclusively to interns visiting from other schools? Did you know that some banks offer special student loans for expenses other than tuition and housing (computers, books, and YES intern housing)? And did you know that evening/weekend jobs in businesses like retail stores in NYC are not as difficult to find as you might imagine?
