We took Isaac-son to the Jpop Revolution in LA to see five great bands including our/his fave MIYAVI.  We predict you'll be hearing more about Miyavi--great new Japanese artist trying to break America...

....I finally finished mixing our first single "Transhuman Psychotronic"...now just gotta get it mastered and then take a nice band photo...write a bio....and start submitting it....It's sounding pretty damn good, btw.

Definitely gotta get the next song done quicker....and will, now that my production chops are back.....Next song "Traveling Paradise" . . . .

The plan is to put "Transhuman" on Itunes and try to see if folks will buy it...we need the dough to help keep this ship afloat and make a go of it.....time is winding down . . . . .
We hope any of ya'll will help us with that...support our efforts......We will take ALL OF YOU ALONG if we make it for sure!!! . . . .very grateful, we, for any fan support!  It is not easy what we're trying to do....the family band thing.....trying to keep a household going at same time etc.......constantly under attack by the wicked one....who would just as soon never have us see the light of day :) . . . . .

ALSO, hope to be putting together some more Larsen Ice Shelf video episodes....a lot in the wings...just a matter of getting to it all . . ...we need backing.......don't we all, I know......
God bless all ya'lls . . . .

Well, we've got another episode of The Larsen Ice Shelf in the can.   It happened to be done the morning one day before the shooting at V-Tech.  We've held off releasing out of respect until now.

Dry, dark humor, with tongue-in-cheek, satirical, analytical, ridiculous . . . is our general mode.  Events--tragic, jaw-dropping--will abound in furious number . . . and so a quick recovery and forging-on will always be in order from here on out . . . .

If you've ever heard the nationally syndicated talk radio personality Michael Savage, you would best appreciate the coming piece.

Thought and speech are being severely curtailed and the last refuge of seers will appear much like a circus.
Those with eyes will yet see.

I can honestly tell you I am not at all fond of the forced porno myspace inserts into our front page as advertising.  The beast just can't keep its grimy, filthy fingers out of anybody's pie . . . apparently . . . . ANYWAY, The Larsen Ice Shelf is not about more of the same for sure.  This means a complete break, on every level, from the way things are done, have been done, tend to be done in the go-go commercialized-suit-monkey "bottom-line" world of today.

The Larsen Ice Shelf is operating on many simultaneous levels, from the spiritual primarily, but also, the political, sociological, familial, paranormal, eschatological, obviously musical, generally artistic, theatrical, videographic, prophetic, satirical, and any other subset you can think of . . . . because it is genuinely NEW and cutting edge on all fronts and based in a whole, foundational existential view. . .

The Shelf is moving, alive and gargantuan and continuing to morph . . . .
You gotta watch it.

But enough with the cheap hook of melons in lingerie.  We get it.  It's ubiquitous and overwrought.  I don't appreciate it being forced onto our front page, and so I guess we'll have to get our own domain, better to comport with our principles, whole vision, and air-tight construction of the message.

I guess I'm a little late on finding this gem, however I thought I would share it with you in case you are too. I was watching a late night rerun of a sitcom called "Still Standing." The show was moderate in humor and I was only half watching while I took care of some things on the computer. Suddenly I stopped everything when I the most pure voice I had ever heard started singing "Summertime." When I looked to the screen, it was a red head 15 year old who was singing as part of the opening scene. I immediately looked her up thinking she had to be a star and it turns out she has an album and working on another. If you enjoy the Sinatra era and Jazz standards, you've got to check this gal out. She's only 17 years old and in my opinion has talent as great as any of the standards (Ella Fitzgerald, Lina Horne, etc.). You can listen to the album at her website:

Very cool.....cousin Brady says he'll play bass on Transhuman psychotronic.....we are 3/4ths done with the recording of it....Eric played excellent slide guitar parts and Isaac added frippertronic guitar noodlings as well....
So, next.....bass....then i gotta add shaker, a few flourishes....vocals.....and then go into mix and master mode....

the new recording of this song is sounding great....as good as anything I've ever recorded.....can't wait to get it done......

There will soon come a time when man will be forced to live off of the land again. Those who are fjorders shall already be trained in this and gifted with nature empathy. Ressurecting the almost squelched warrior spirit that once shone brightly in us all, fjording digs deep into the roots of instinctive skills and mindsets in order to be in balance with God, nature, and all brother and sister spirits. Though rooted in sword play and primal instincts it is actually a practice of discipline, peace, and brotherhood. Soon a tome will be released, divulging all that is there to teach of the practice of fjording. Keep vigilant(e). Ho! Warriors!

So, finally, we begin recording our world conquering cd...heh....Starting with a new souped-up version of Psychotronic.  Thanks to Danny at the New Song Underground studio.....
The Larsen Ice Shelf is a music venture dedicated to....well....satisfying my absolute need to keep writing and recording new songs...and, providing some alternative to the gloomy, death-obsessed, self-loathing, whiny, complaining, faux-dark, evility wanna-be tripe and copycat blather...which L (the bad L) is giving such prominant play these end days......Tough road, I know, as he IS the prince of the airwaves...but, what the hell......In a TRUE rebellious spirit--not this hackneyed lemming skull and leather kinderporn--we shall jump into the fray....fwiw.......
