Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  Thanks to the folks who came out and supported our show at Martyrs' last weekend.  It was great to see so many familiar faces! We're looking forward to getting back on the road in a few hours.  Tonight we're in Elkhart IN and tomorrow in St. Joseph MI.

Lubriphonic opens the show for Karl Denson's Tiny Universe at the Double Door in Chicago this Saturday October 24. This is a show we are particularly looking forward to, as we are big fans.  Plus, it's a much smaller venue than he usually plays, so it's for sure going to be a charged up night of dance grooves.  If you're in the city, you gotta check it out!

We've had a busy early fall, we've done a lot of shows, and we've been trying to catch up with our schedule.  We had a great weekend o' shows in Carbondale at Tres Hombres, Rock Island at RIBCO, and at the Riverview Music Festival in Elgin.  Now, we gonna get some new music done. New, baby.

So, our September tour is complete.  We toured the full span of the U.S., from Philadelphia to Los Angeles; from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific.  It was a long tour, with high and low points.  But, if you're looking for meaning in things, here it is...
On the last stop of our tour in Las Vegas we met a fellow from the LVJBS who was at our show.  He said that he loved going to see live music because since he'd begun his interest a few years before, he'd only met good people.  The more good music he sees, the more good people he meets.  Well...
I'd say the same thing about Lubriphonic-- the more we play, the more we record, the more we tour-- the more good people we meet.  That's the pay we get for doing what we do.  Thanks so much to everyone that came to our shows this month, and we look forward to seeing more of you.
