We are thrilled that you'll be joining us to ring in the new year! We have a few notes to make your evening even more enjoyable!

First of all - we are pleased to announce that The Autumn Defense (featuring John and Pat from Wilco) will be supporting Jon on Monday!

As always, we recommend taking public transportation to the show. If you must drive, there is discounted parking available in the Millenium Park Garage for up to six hours. Please note that YOU MUST BRING YOUR PARKING TICKET TO THE HARRIS THEATRE BOX OFFICE FOR VALIDATION. If you fail to do so, park in one of the other adjacent garages, or stay one minute over six hours, you will be charged whatever the special event city rate is for that night, no exceptions.

Also, please be sure to enjoy a hearty New Year's Eve meal prior to arriving at the theatre, as there will not be food available for purchase at the theatre.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you on Monday at 9:00 PM.

Jon Brion, the world-renowned producer and musician, will be performing a special New Year's Eve concert at Chicago's Harris Theater in Millennium Park.

Well known to music fans everywhere for his production credits (Kanye West, Fiona Apple, Rufus Wainwright) and soundtrack work (Punch-Drunk Love, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), Jon Brion has also become legendary for his one-man shows at L.A.'s Largo. Bouncing from guitar to piano to drums, Jon builds jaw-dropping compositions of covers and originals, many by spontaneous audience request. His many talented friends have been known to drop in and join him, and New Year's Eve promises to be no exception.

The night will include two sets from Mr. Brion, as well as pre and post parties in the theatre lobbies with open bar, dancing and entertainment.

Tickets are $85 and will go on sale November 9th through the Harris Theater Box Office (312.334.7777) and at www.harristheaterchicago.org. The house will be sold from front to back, rewarding early purchasers with seats closest to the stage.

The Harris Theater for Music and Dance is a state-of-the-art facility located at 205 E. Randolph, at the north end of Millennium Park. Now in its fourth year of operation, The Harris Theater continues to host the most diverse offerings of any venue in Chicago, featuring the city's world-renowned music and dance institutions and acclaimed national and international companies.

Sponsors for this event include the Chicago Reader and The Onion.

Congrats and good luck to our group of 2006/2007 Intonation Music Workshop graduates, who were chosen from over 14 Rock For Kids Youth Jam programs to perform at Lollapalooza this year.

Calling themselves Black Tooth Grinn, these four guys will rock the Kidzapalooza stage at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 3.

See you there!

As you've probably heard by now, Intonation is not doing one big event this summer. You know why? Because everyone else is. Seriously.

What are we doing?

We're scheming. Lots of cool things on the horizon. We here at Intonation strive to bring you unusual and unique events - the kind of shows that you will remember for years to come. Like the shows we just did with Jon Brion at Steppenwolf and the Hideout. Were you there? You should have been....

We will be announcing some new stuff soon. In the meantime, check back here for updates.

Do you have any brilliant ideas? You can always send them our way - info@intonationmusicfest.com. If we use them, we'll....uh...thank you.
