Terry Dunn, the guitarist for Banshee, is currently in Louisiana filming a few episodes of the Exterminators on A&E.  He has written a song for Billy's wife Mary Bretherton and is playing guitar, bass and producing on the song in the studio as well.  They have been in the studio the past few days cranking out the demo for Mary.

Be sure to catch Terry when the new season airs in February.  We'll make sure you know when they are going to air.  This is part of a running plot line on the show now and should lead to even more later.  Plans are already being made for additional appearances from Terry on the show.

The song is called Cerebral and it will be available for download in the near future.

We all wish Terry well and are looking forward to seeing him on TV and hearing the song when everything is finished.  Be sure to add Terry as a friend for the most up to date news!

Kudos!

This summer is a busy one for Banshee. We have a lot going on and it is going to lead up to a killer 2010.

Our fourth album is coming along well and Tommy will be laying down demo vocal tracks soon for several of the songs on 'Halls of Karma.' Watch for Tommy as he will be making a guest appearance and perform at Rocklahoma. He will be at the Garden of Evil site in the VIP area - late night. More details to follow.

Terry is finishing up the music for the album this summer and has about half the albums tracks demo-ed now. Watch for a few older demo's from the Terry Dunn Project of the mid-90s. We've uncovered a few tracks from storage. He also has some very exciting news which you'll find out about soon, just to keep you guessing...

Tommy will also be working this summer too - on The Tommy Flood Project. Hans Brauner (guitar), Greg Stegman (keyboards), Eric Spears (bass) and Erin Mumma (drums) will be working with him as they perform throught late summer and fall in the midwest - particularly around Kansas City. Booking dates are being confirmed now and we'll get those to you ASAP.

Our good friend, Don Jamieson, who hosts VH1 Classic’s "That Metal Show" featured Banshee's Desire as the Underground Classic last night on New Yorks Q104.3.  He joined Eddie Trunk on his "Friday Night Rocks' show whcih aris in NYC Live every Friday from 11PM to 2AM.

It reruns on KNAC.com on Saturday and Monday from 10AM-1PM EST.

The Underground Classic is a name that tune type of segment that Eddie does every week on his show.  They played the first 10 seconds of Desire and people called in to guess who it was.  A 17 year old young lady called in from Long Island and correctly identified the song as Banshee's Desire.  Afterwords they played the whole song and discussed the band.

Banshee wants to thank Don and Eddie for their support of the band and for featuring us on Eddie trunks show Friday night.

Both of you are HUGE assets to the metal community!

We encourage everyone to check out their shows on VH1 and the radio and let them know how great they are!  Add them to your friends list as well - these guys are awesome!

Desire is also now available on our Music Player now as well - enjoy!

Catch Eddie's show streaming on KNAC.com every Saturday and Monday 10AM-1PM EST.
"Friday Night Rocks" in NYC live on Q104.3 11PM-2AM every Friday. The program also runs on affiliate stations and syndicated outlets.
