A first blog after several years running the studio...

Several things finalizing themselves after quite a bit of work at the moment - the Mark Alder & The Baudelaires album has made it from our first recordings over a year ago to a CD in a very posh looking sleeve.

Amy Blue have released The Fortress and The Fatalist and are gearing up to come back in Autumn for album #2. Looking forward to this, we are.

Just finishing off the mixes for the first and possibly only ever Chubby Nest EP - they seem to have disappeared from Myspace * at the moment, leaving a Barrett-shaped hole, but will put some tracks up here if they don't resurface once we're done.

The last visitors were the very lovely folky duo Letters To The Front, very pleasant couple of days recording and mixing three songs, once they'd reconciled themselves to listening to their own voices - listen here, I don't think they had anything to worry about.

Coming soon - the 'caravan' recordings of Mark A and myself in our 'Guides' guise - acoustic tweeness recorded in an actual caravan... apart from the bits we cheated on and did in the studio, maybe best not to mention that.
