It’s funny, I must correct myself, because I’ve already given ’The Black Album of The Year’ title to Secrets Of The Moon. Now I must go further. Despite the fact that there’s still almost four months remaining this year, I dare to say that this will be one of the best albums (or even THE best album) this year. The destroying sensitiveness with its mystic atmosphere is very memorable in this genre. We will be very satisfied with this album, and without any doubts, this album deserves the maximal score. It’s a ten, and not less.
Power of Metal (Denmark) Rating: 89/100
....Good heavens..., what a good record this is. The songs have influences of several different styles of metal, but instead of leading to nothing Darzamat molts them into good written tracks. Above that they succeed in creating a style of their own and that is very difficult nowadays. This Polish band can have a great future with the right support.
With every spin the album gets better, so if the coin doesn't fall with the first listening; take the time and listen again. Highly recommended to fans of Cradle, Dimmu, Epica and all other open-minded metal heads. Killer album!!
Darzamat has released a really good, intelligent metal opus. There is so much going on here that it is possible to pick up something new with each listen - which is always a good indication about a bands staying power. Darzamat are a band at the top of their game and just starting to come into their own. "Solfernus' Path" is a release that features hardly any flaws and many strengths. These days it is hard for any metal band to survive for 14-years and with the help of their new label Massacre hopefully Darzamat will get some of the success that they so richly deserve. Whatever happens "Solfernus' Path" is a monumental achievement that the band should be proud of.
In my opinion Darzamat is a very good band, and it’s always worthwhile to listen to their albums since their sound is constantly changing and producing some very interesting songs along the way. With “Solfernus Path” the band has probably released their finest album since “In The Flames of Black Art”. I strongly recommend this album to anybody that is looking for a very original band, but still wants their music to be dark, melodic and heavy.
The Polish metal scene should no longer be restricted to Vader, Dies Irae and Riverside. Darzamat have proven that they have huge potential, and their mature performance should be able to attract a wide metal audience.
Twist Magazine (Sweden) 7/10
Black metal with the beauty and the beast concept? No, not really. The Polish band Darzamat’s male singer Flauros reminds me of both his Polish fellow Nergal (Behemoth) and Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth), while he was still young. Nera, the female voice in this band, reminds me of both Alissa White-Gluz (The Agonist) and Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation). And maybe these four bands are the best way to describe this bands sound with, because you’ll find a little bit of everything here. A little gothic, a little black metal, a little core, and some musical intermezzos, but most important; a lot of good songs.
This album does strike a nice equilibrium between the wistful, magickal atmospherics and thrashing heaviness and is a solid and lively enough album to warrant a listen, especially if you enjoy female fronted metal that avoids all the usual conventions.
Polish band has reached a mile stone with his album. Darzamat has delivered a fine concept album that exactly meets the requirements the band had. The album had to be dark as well in lyrics as in music. More than accomplished!

Katowicki Darzamat w lutym 2010 roku zagra trasę promującą najnowszy album zespołu zatytułowany "Solfernus' Path". Płyta ukazała się 28 sierpnia nakładem niemieckiej wytwórni Massacre Records. Trasa zawita do dziesięciu polskich miast.

Darzamat entered into cooperation with the German concert agency Go Down
Believing. The agency, with its headquarters in Koeln, is known to have worked
with such bands as Pro-Pain (USA), Hatesphere (Denmark), Fear My Thoughts
(Germany), Illdisposed (Denmark), Exilia (Italy), Xandria (Germany), Disbelief
(Germany) or Nightrage (Sweden). GDB will represent Darzamat all over the world
with the exception of Poland. Says Flauros, the band’s vocalist: ‘For a long
time we were looking for the right partner who would take care of the logistical
side of our concerts. Up till now we had to search for the dates and book them
ourselves. I’m really glad that Allen Wright, GDB’s head, believed in Darzamat’s
potential and asked us to cooperate with them. We put a lot of hope on Go Down
Believing; we believe that our enthusiasm and their experience together will
soon yield fantastic results.'....

Darzamat is going to play an exclusive concert in the
capital of Mexico, alongside the Finnish Korpiklaani. The gig is scheduled to
take place at the Circo Volador club
on the 30th of October 2009. Darzamat is currently promoting their new album
entitled Solfernus’ Path, released by the German Massacre
Records on the 28th of August (the Japanese release having been handled by
Spiritual Beast). There is a chance that Darzamat’s Mexico City gig might
not prove the only one after their journey across the ocean - the Mexican Dilemma agency is
already planning the second concert for the 31st of October. ‘For a
long time we’ve had the idea to play in Mexico, so we’re really happy that we’re
finally going to make it. Not only is it a wonderful adventure for us, but also
a very important event, since our albums have been selling extraordinarily well
over there. We’ve been getting great feedback from our fans in Mexico, so we
just know it will be an unforgettable night. We’ve booked our return
tickets for the 1st of November, so it looks like we will be able to make it
with the second show in this beautiful country. But if for some strange reason
it doesn’t happen, well, we probably will have something else to focus on… like
visiting the formidable Mayan temples,’ explains Nera, the band’s vocalist, with
a smile. On the
18th of October Darzamat will be playing in the Belgian city of Wieze, during
the cult Metal Female Voices Festival. ‘For a couple of reasons, this is a very
special concert for us. First of all, it is in Belgium, in front of thousands
and thousands of festival goers, that we will be premiering tracks from our new
album, Solfernus’ Path. Also, two years ago an illness that had struck
one of the band members made us cancel the MFVF show, so now we are super-glad
that we will play there at last,’ adds Flauros, Darzamat’s vocalist.

Darzamat Mexican Tour postponed
Most regretfully we have to
announce that Darzamat will not tour in Mexico this summer as planned. We have
more than one reason to do that, but first and foremost it is due to fact our
album won’t be released the expected date.
We really
want to visit Mexico, but we know the best time is doing it when the new album
is finally out. The negotiations with the label are still in progress, but we
believe the record will be available in Autumn and then it will be great time to
return to the topic of touring in your beautiful country.
We deeply regret the
inconvenience caused for everyone involved, for promoters, bands and
fans.
We are looking forward to
see you all at a later date.
All cheers to you!!! Darzamat
