Hi there,

I wrote this song a while back and recorded it last summer. It's been one I've had to get comfortable with cos it's personal, as it should be, and was upsetting to play initially.

Now I've lived with it I love it. It's a sad tale about someone in my family who had to cope with the loss of the love of his life, sole companion, best friend and wife in one foul swoop.

Times were hard, but they're better now.

Hello,

Last weekend we played a 40 min set at the Secret Garden Party. It had taken us ages to get there from Brighton cos the traffic was rubbish, but the convoy made it in the end. We arrived just before our set on The Living Room stage. It's organised by Shelter which is a great charity. My sister used to work for them so I was proud to be helpin out.

By 5pm we were setting up tents and drinking wine out of very warm bottles....uuurrrrgh! It was such amazing weather. NOT ONE DROP OF RAIN! and we'd taken wellies;) A few cool beers later and the day was going swimmingly. A set from Alphabeat and then Julian Velard got our party started and the rest of the night and morning flew by.

It really is a great festival....loads to do as well as music to listen to and bands to watch. Grace Jones band was a massive highlight.

This weekend we're off to gig in the park in Halesworth. We're headling the 2nd stage on Sunday night. It should be great.

We've just gained a fantastic new member to the band. Joe is a multi-tasker, playing loads of instruments. So the live show is going from strength to strength.

So when we've got our next gigs up you have to come see us soooooon!

Hi there,

After months of hard work the Album is finished, and I'm really proud of it.

It's been great fun working with Tim Bidwell who produced the album, and to be honest I feel about 18 again. I'm really excited about the next few few months, and getting it ready to hit the shops.

Over the next few weeks this site'll get a facelift and a couple of new tracks will be posted exclusively. So stay in touch and keep an eye out.

A good friend of mine who I've known for about 6 years, recently left Brighton. So I went to her leaving do and was sad to see her go, but knowing that we'd hopefully see each other soon.

I've just been hangin out and have spoken to a mutual friend. It turns out that my departing friend is having a big party at her folks place this weekend......and guess who isn't invited.

It's just weird...you think you know people and then unpredictable realities happen that through you off balance. It makes you worried that you've done something to explain the exclusion?

I may be being over sensitive and paranoid, but I take friendship seriously and I'm just really confused.

Oh well here's to a great weekend with real friends and without confusion.

Hi there,

How's it going?

I'm knackered. I've been to work today and then came back home to carry on working on my music.

I've been working two jobs for nearly two years now. A job to pay the bills and my music, a kind of job, that I'd love to do full-time if it could pay the bills.

Finally, after saving up for years, after working hard on my tunes and gigs, the chance came to make my debut Album; a collection of the best of my tunes so far and an indication of where my writing will and can go.

And it's nearly ready for release. Hopefully in August or September.

I'm gonna be sortin out and updating my Myspace soon and putting some brand new tracks from the Album exclusively on this site.
