hi everybody.

this is just a little note from us saying that in the next coupla weeks there will be fresh songs (finally) up on this page. that means the old ones that've been up for the better part of the last year will be goin the way of the Dodo. no tears, now.

that also means that we've been recording. we're doing it ourselves this time around, so the sound is gonna be a little different. a little more homespun (pronounced: "ramshackle") but we're real pleased with the way things have been coming out so far and we can't wait to share it with you.

also we're gonna be headed slightly south again come January, so if you or anyone you know lives in D.C. or Baltimore or anywhere within 400 or so miles of New York, down the east coast, and they wanna see Sonny Oaks or let us sleep on their floor, we welcome the hospitality and would try to our best return it in kind.

see ya soon.

love,
Sonny Oaks

friends, autumn has arrived and your patience is being rewarded- at least, we hope you'll agree. Gonna Miss You is the name of it and it was recorded live at Union Hall. We're also gonna take this opportunity to note the departure of Jeremy Kay on bass and welcome the arrival of Zev Nevo. So we four are going into record some new tunes with the skilled and patient Mr. John Davis at Bunker Studios at the end of this month and it won't be long before we've got more new things. So long for now and thanks.

all our best,
Sonny Oaks
