Hello everyone!  Hope this finds you all in good health and good spirits. 

I had just enough time at home to see the last of the snow melt away and catch a glimpse of the buds sprouting through the ground, when it was time to get on a plane again to rock it out with the one and only CHER!!  If you can get out to Vegas, you really have to see the show. She is amazing, as are everyone else involved in this production. I am STILL shaking my head in disbelief that I am a part of this !  Thank you, God!

And so the journey continues......

Looks like I'll finally get that picture I spoke about in the online interview I did this past summer!
I will be a part of (hang on to your sailor hats) CHER'S band for her upcoming dates in Las Vegas! How f*&%ing great is THAT??!!! I'm still in rehearsals and all I can say is that you're in store for a breathtaking show! (As if we'd expect anything less from her!!) It's magical and SHE is INCREDIBLE!!!
The first show is February 21st!!!! (I know, I know. Should've told you earlier....Surprise!! ) You can go to Cherworld.com or Caesars Palace website for more info.

It's that time of year again. Time for sharing and caring with family and friends. Time for reflecting and connecting. Time for shoveling snow and throwing out your back again...!!!! ;-)
Seriously, I hope that you are not all stressing out on buying those last minute gifts. That's really NOT what this time of year is all about...Though the shops will try to say otherwise , I hope that you all spend more time with family and friends than just spending.....
It has been quite the year for me, I must say, and I am so grateful to all of you for ALL that you do. Your "presence" have been the best "presents" for me. I really mean that.

Hope this finds you all in good health and good spirits. I don't have any "music news" to bring you up to date with at the moment. I've been taking in my surroundings and basically just reflecting upon life. I thought that I had to rush back home and get to work on new songs, but nothing was coming to me. Was a bit frustrating at first, but I couldn't fight it. And so I didn't. I have been riding the "wave of reflection" and by doing so, have been putting many "things" in their proper "places" and many things to rest; "taking only those sweet moments that'll carry ME along".....Yes. I am now practicing what I preached!!!!! HA!!! Kind of freaky that I wrote those words when I did and NOW I find that they are helping ME through life, as well.
I've had a lot to take in and I cannot wait for my brain to sift through it all and put the pieces of THIS part of life's "puzzle" together. What's next? What is the New Year going to bring? Where will I be? What's the inspiration for the next song? The suspense is killing me!!! (Talk about putting pressure on myself to deliver......Oh Shite!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!)
I remember the song that I sang at my high school Baccalaureate.(Google it. I had to look up the spelling!) It was the theme song from the movie, Mahogany. "Do You Know Where You're Going To". Me? I haven't a clue right now....But WHEREVER it is, I'm gonna make damn sure that I am ready for it !!!
And NOW I will step off of my "soapbox" (Google that ,as well, if you are not from the UK ) and be on my merry way. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!

I am FINALLY back in the US. I had a private gig on the 7th in London, so I opted to stay in the UK when the tour finished. No sooner did I change my flights, when I got a call from Meat, asking me to fly to LA to help out on a show he and Pearl were going to be on called, "Don't Forget The Lyrics". Needless to say, I was off to LA. I can't give you all of the details, but it was A LOT of fun and they raised A LOT of money for one of Meat's charities. I have no idea when the show airs, but I'm sure SOMEONE will know as it gets closer. I went straight from the taping to the airport and flew BACK to the UK to do the gig with the SAS Band. I was in for a real surprise when Steve Winwood hit the stage right after us !!! Holy SH*% !!! And HE was in for a real surprise when Suzie Webb (from Spike's Band and the Fabba Girls) and I jumped on stage to sing Bv's to "Gimme Some Lovin" !!!!! It was one of those "It HAD to be done" moments!!!!! Had a lot of laughs with he and the band after the show.
Just got back last night.....I don't know whether to sleep, have a coffee, or a pint.....or all of the above.

Wow. They say "Time flies when you're having fun". This tour just FLEW by!!! ( Dare I say, "....Like a Bat out of hell??!! )
SO great to see all of you again and I hope that you all had JUST as much fun as I have had ! Let's see where the road leads us in the coming months.

It's been 2 years since I last performed with Meat Loaf and the Neverland Express. I went through a flurry of emotions prior to the first rehearsal, and yet, when we started, it felt as though I had never left.....Strange really.....I can't quite explain it, but I guess when you've been a part of something for so long, it never quite leaves you.
So many of you continued checking in on me during my time away from the band and offered so much support when I really needed it the most. Losing my father was such a shock and the aftermath that ensued was the most disgusting display of
human beings at their worst that my sister and I had had to witness. May "they" hang their heads in shame....
ANYWAY, through all of this "hell" ( and sadly there WAS more) , I could've easily have gone down the wrong road....yet , amazingly, I found myself on a very personal journey inward and the result has been some of my proudest writing to date. The lyrics are honest and come from a very dark place, yet they speak of hope and assurance. I couldn't believe that this was coming OUT of me, considering what was happening all AROUND me. It has been a very profound moment in my personal journey through "this thing called life". (had to nick that line from you, Prince!")
And so begins yet another journey. It's great to be back on the big stage, yet I wouldn't have traded what I have gone through for anything in the world. I was able to discover who I really was as a person. There's that line in Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All" which I could never quite understand. "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all". I always took that line to mean very self-absorbed and conceited....Boy did I miss the mark on that one...
