Hey everybody!
we would like to say thankyouthankyouthankyou! We won the Norbay music awards! We received a real plastic gold record that says: Dgiin, World. In our book that means we conquered the world, wahaha! Anyway, thank you all that voted for us as well as everyone that has supported us, come to shows, shared our music with others, danced and enjoyed our music. Like roots of a tree without the soil, there would be little viability in what we do without you, so thank you...

Hmmm, where to buy CDs...

Well, we sell them at every show, or we have some for sale at some music stores:

Back Door Records in Cotati
Incredible Records in Sebastopol
Kaya's Coffee Shop in Guerneville

We're working on getting them to Last Record Store in Santa Rosa, but they're not there yet.

You can also buy & download them here:

The Rain

The rain that falls whispers poems to me
Soft words, almost love words
She invites me contemplate this world
And leaves all my pains falling to the ground

The rain that falls knows that I love her
Rinses my head out and solves my problems

Masses of words seep out and amass
Night gives them back to me and puts them in place
The black of the pit will give me back my presence
And for just a moment I escape from my madness

The rain that falls whispers poems to me
Soft words, almost love words

Rester tel
Qu'elle nous y a placer
Savoir respecter l'ordre naturel

Mon esprit me reviens délabrer souiller et pourri
Par la cadence de mon oubli

What They See

Since waking up
Not a lucid moment
A smell of bottle
And my brain about to burst
I'm coming back
From a long detour towards nothingness
So sorry that we loose all our means
Remaining such as
She has put us there
Knowing how to respect natural order
Without being carried by society
All with trust without any doubt
Not giving in to vengeance
And to say that all this does not change
Will not change
Just because they do not believe
Cannot don't want don't know how to use
Their integrity
Since each only listens to what they see

Of my living
I had never seen anything as such
Nothing more coward or deceiving
Me that has seen some wretched cases
To get back on the train
Get back on the road the parcourse the path
Follow sensibly your destiny
To always go forward
We must always go forward
With nothing left to get drunk
My spirit comes back broken down soiled and rotten
By the cadence of my forgetfulness

A Fleur de Peau

A fleur de peau
Au son du matin
La couleur de la pluie
A l'espoir de demain
Accroché a tes drapeaux

'A fleur de peau' is an expression meaning something that barely touches you
The skin's grazing

To the skin's grazing
To the sound of the morning
The color of the rain
To tomorrow's hope
Attached to your flags
I fly/steal (the word 'vole' has a double intended meaning) the colors of my sorrow
To fulfill our tomorrows
I will give you my bones, my skin, my tears, my furry
My pain, my path

Michao's Mare
This is a cyclical song about seasons coming and going. It is a traditional Breton (traditional from the French Britany coast)

In ten years I will leave
I hear the wolf the fox sing
I hear the wolf the fox and the ferret
I hear the wolf and the fox sing
Michao's Mare and her little foal
Went through the field and ate all the hay
Winter will come friends winter will come
Michao's mare will regret it

In eight years…

In six years…

In four years…

In two years…
